Petri Paavola on the Giants of the Bible, part 3 of 4

Under consideration is the article Giants of the Bible by Petri Paavola (note that I am quoting the English version of the article which contains very slightly broken English in places)—find all segments of this review here.

GIANTS IN THE BIBLE
Petri Paavola then has a subsection titled, “Appearances of the giants in the Bible.”

2 Samuel 21 refers to “.Ishbibenob, who was of the sons of the giant (rapha), the weight of whose spear was three hundred shekels of brass in weight, he being girded with new armour, thought to have slain David. But Abishai the son of Zeruiah succoured him, and smote the Philistine, and killed him…Sibbecai the Hushathite slew Saph, who was of the sons of the giant (rapha)…a champion, that had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant (rapha).” Note that this has led many to assert that giants, in general, had 24 digits but the Bible only states that this one person did. The text also refers to “Elhanan the son of Jaare-oregim the Beth-lehemite slew Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver’s beam.”

At this point, Paavola notes, “In this passage is copying error, because David killed Goliath. Some have assumed that the verse should be: Elhanan the son of Jaareoregim, a Bethlehemite, slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite” and I too dealt with this issue, see A Lie About Goliath?

The text also notes, “These four were born to the giant (rapha) in Gath; and they fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants” with the “giant (rapha)” being Goliath. genesis206-7814873

Paavola then backtracks to 1 Samuel 17 which refers to “a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named
Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span” and we are told, “Goliath’s height was about eleven feet” however, I am not aware of anyone else who claims as much. In fact, Goliath is taller in Greek than he is in Hebrew due to a disparity between Hebrew and Greek manuscripts regarding his height so that he ranged from 6.7 ft. to 9.8 ft.

Paavola emphasizes that Goliath’s “coat of mail weighted one hundred and fifty six pounds. His spear’s head weighted about eighteen pounds” assuming that Paavola’s undisclosed calculations are accurate. His point is that “These measurements reveal to us that how large sized the giants were in the days of the King David.”
I will add the various references to “the staff of” spears being “like a weaver’s beam.” However, note that 1 Chronicles 11 points out that “an Egyptian, a man of great stature, five cubits high [7.5 ft.]; and in the Egyptian’s hand was a spear like a weaver’s beam” and that good ol’ regular guy Benaiah the son of Jehoiada “went down to him with a staff, and plucked the spear out of the Egyptian’s hand, and slew him with his own spear” so that he had not trouble handling it.

Deuteronomy 2 refers to “The Emim…a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakim; these also are accounted Rephaim (rephaim), as the Anakim; but the Moabites call them Emim…a land of Rephaim (rephaim)…but the Ammonites call them Zamzummim, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakim.”

And we end up circling back to two issue which are that these are “giants” which tells us nothing of specific heights and that “The giant nations were descendants of evil spirits (the fallen angels), who were full of satanic evil.

Deuteronomy 3 tells us that “only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of the Rephaim (rephaim); behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbah of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.” Paavola comments, 9 x four cubits is about 14.8 x 8.2 ft. Yet, “the cubit of a man” most likely refers to 18 inches making it 13.5 x 6 ft. In any case, we are told nothing about Og’s height but only the size of his bed.

2 Peter 2 notes what I aforementioned about fallen Angels being incarcerated, “God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell [actually, Tartarus], and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment.” Petri Paavola rightly notes that “God threw down to the hell the angels who sinned. Those angels are in chains waiting the great judgement day” but then what of his claim that fallen Angels continued their mating with women post-flood?
He may assume that the pre-flood Angels were incarcerated and then other Angels fell, did likewise and were also incarcerated, then more, etc. Indeed, he writes, “part of fallen angels are still free and deceiving people on the earth and part of them are imprisonment in chains.” He also specifies, “Part of the fallen angels (who didn’t practice sexual intercourse with the daughters of men) are still free and part of them (who practiced sexual intercourse with the daughters of men) are imprisoned.” Yet, the Bible does not even hint at any such thing: he is basing this on some basic errors along the way.

He notes that the imprisoned Angels “left their own habitation (spirit body)” yet, “spirit body” is a contradiction in terms as a body has flesh and bones but a spirit does not (FYI: a spiritual body is another issue). I would think that “left their own habitation” refers to heaven which they left when they fell therefrom.

Jude mirrors Peter in stating, “the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.” This time Paavola comments, “fallen angels left their celestial bodies, and took the shape of the human body” which is something about which Jude says nothing and is also not even hinted at in the entire Bible.

Uri Dowbenko on salvation as slavery

Herein concludes a consideration (find all segments here) of an article by Uri Dowbenko published in New Dawn Magazine and is titled New (Reptilian) World Order, November 10, 2013 AD which is a a full frontal assault on anyone who disagrees with Dowbenko.

SALVATION AS SLAVERY
Another source of Uri Dowbenko’s info is Barbara Marciniak. She claims to receive telepathic messages from Pleiadians from the future: this is convenient because they do not have to go through all of that bothersome interstellar high tech travel and, you know, actually appearing in person. Rather, Marciniak is basically a spirit channeling medium—how interesting that the occult and the UFO phenomenon are so very closely related. A dozen years into promulgating the messages of these aliens, she was a guest on the “Coast to Coast” radio program, was asked who are these being with whom she is in touch and she stated that she does not know.

Marciniak refers to “these hybrid part-human part-reptilian beings, ‘Lizzies.’ ‘These beings, who are neither spiritually informed nor learned in spiritual ways.’” This brings us to how Dowbenko attacked the traditional view of Jesus, then the Bible, then God’s design for sex and now he will attack sin and salvation.
A subsection of his article is titled, “Transcending the Virus of Salvationist Religion” wherein he refers to yet another source of his info John Lamb Lash whom Dowbenko states is “inspired – and inspirational.” Well, Dowbenko note that Lash lash out and “deconstructs the ‘Belief Systems’ (BS) of the Abrahamic religions – Christianity, Judaism and Islam, while explaining the metaphysical teachings of the so-called ‘Gnostics,’ who have historically been disparaged as ‘pagans.’”

In short, Gnosticism simply takes whatever the Bible states and turns it upside down, inside out and backwards which is Satan’s basic modus operandi: copy but corrupt that which God does. Dowbenko refers to Lash’s “groundbreaking exposition” in elucidating that as per Gnosticism, “Yaldabaoth is the Demiurge, a.k.a. Yahweh or Jehovah, a demented pseudo-deity who works against humanity” a “pseudo-deity” a “demented pretender” an “arrogant demented pretender.”

Lash asserts that “the rise of salvationism was a unique mistake for our species…Gnostic-based empirical mysticism conflicts with Salvationist-based Abrahamic religions on many levels.” Apparently, asserting that Annunaki aliens from Nibiru/Planet X and/or the Pleiades who are 4th dimensional and eat people who take on 3 dimensional bodies and become fiction authors and heads of state is “empirical mysticism.”

In any case, we are told that “The alien agenda of Salvationism asserts that humans are in error, flawed and sinful ‘by nature.’” You can see that the goal is to deny sin, engage in guilt free sex—and so become Christs. However, the biblical doctrine of Salvationism asserts that humans are in error, flawed and sinful yet, by fallen nature and not as originally created by God.

pleiades-9903541

David Icke is appealed to again, “Crucial to maintaining the human psyche in disconnected ignorance is the manipulation of low vibrational emotion, fear, guilt, resentment, dislike of self and condemnation of others which in the end are all expressions of fear. These are the very emotions which resonate to the frequency range of the lower fourth dimension and once we succumb to domination by these emotions, we succumb to the control of the reptilian consciousness.”
This is fascinating coming from people who make a living by the fear tactic of claiming that Annunaki aliens from Nibiru/Planet X and/or the Pleiades who are 4th dimensional and eat people who take on 3 dimensional bodies and become fiction authors and heads of state—oh yeah, and the Christianity is to blame.

Uri Dowbenko refers to a “lifetime of hard-core programming that ‘sin’ is our original legacy” and his solution is “victory over the Nephilim enslavement of humanity” even though all of the Nephilim drowned to death in the flood, the great deluge—yet, keep in mind that the confuses the Nephilim with their dads, the sons of God who are supposed to be the Annunaki.

Finally, as I noted at the outset Uri Dowbenko relies on Zecharia Sitchin, R.A. Boulay, David Icke, Barbara Marciniak, John Lamb Lash and Barbara Hand Clow so as to launch a full frontal assault on anyone who disagrees and bases his assault on misinformation, disinformation and errors of all sorts.

pro-choice

Of course, the statement that all aborted babies are going to heaven anyhow is pointed at theists.

If the only point of life is to get the heaven bound to heaven quickly, then a holocaust perpetrated against all theists would be justified. Why not send all people who believe in heaven there right now?

No indeed, belief in heaven does not mean that it is in any way acceptable to murder a beautiful, innocent and defenseless baby in an inhuman, subhuman and inhumane, dismembering, brutal and painful manner for money.

Uri Dowbenko on the Nephilim aka Annunaki

Under continued consideration (find all segments here) is an article Uri Dowbenko published in New Dawn Magazine and is titled New (Reptilian) World Order, November 10, 2013 AD which is a a full frontal assault on anyone who disagrees with Dowbenko.

NEPHILIM AKA ANNUNAKI
Uri Dowbenko asks, “And what about the stories from the Book of Enoch and the Forbidden Books of the Bible which refer to the Nephilim – literally ‘Those Who Were Cast Down’ – and the Watchers, the so-called ‘Fallen Angels’?”

In order to answer this he notes that (unmanaged, unquoted and uncited) “Scholars and historians have been totally confounded by the abrupt rise of the Sumerian culture nearly 6,000 years ago” since it contradicts “the popular historical theory of linear development in cultural evolution.” Interestingly, those taking a Young Earth view would say that this makes sense since the timeline lines up and the closer people lived to the creation event, the more their genetics were close to pristine, the more intelligent they would have been.

In any case, Dowbenko then touches upon his first source of info, “the Sumerian story remained a riddle, until historian-archaeologist Zechariah [actually, “Zecharia”] Sitchin published a remarkable book called The 12th Planet (1979). In his subsequent series entitled ‘The Earth Chronicles,’ Sitchin describes in great detail the crossbreeding program of the Sumerian ‘gods’ through genetic manipulation”—BTW: I read this entire series.

Dowbenko tells us, “Having spent thirty years studying Sumerian, Assyrian, Babylonian and Hittite texts and the Old Testament in the original Hebrew, Sitchin deciphered the ancient scripts, transcribed them, transliterated them and, finally translated them.” Well, whether this is accurate is highly suspect for various reasons. In fact, an actual ancient languages scholar named Dr. Michael Heiser has pointed out various instances wherein Sitchin exhibited little to no knowledge of those things in which he was supposed to be an expert. Heiser produced the website Sitchin is Wrong, he also challenged Sitchin to debate such issues but in a decade’s time Sitchin never accepted.

In any case, Sitchin is good enough for Uri Dowbenko who writes, “His conclusion? Sitchin writes that…a highly advanced race of extra-planetary colonists who came to earth” mostly because for some reason they needed gold, “The Sumerians themselves described them as” they who “had come down to earth from heaven. In the Hebrew text of the Old Testament, the Sumerian gods of heaven and earth are referred to as the Nephilim. The Sumerians themselves called the colonists the Anunnaki.” Note that Dowbenko is confusing the Nephilim with the Sons of God who on his theo-cosmology would be the Anunnaki since it is the Sons of God who “came down” but the Nephilim are their offspring.

Dowbenko writes, “The Bible and Strong’s Concordance does not mention the Nephilim specifically by name.” Well, if he means that it does not refer to them as Anunnaki then it certainly does not nor should or would it. However, if he means that it does not refer to them as Anunnaki then it certainly does that it does not refer to them as Nephilim then it certainly does, see here for Strong’s entry H5303.

We are told, “Sitchin translates the biblical verses from Genesis 6:4 as: ‘The Nephilim were upon the Earth, in those days and thereafter too, when the sons of the gods cohabited with the daughters of Adam and they bore children unto them. They were the Mighty Ones of Eternity.’” The “of Eternity” portion is an unusual translation but not altogether illegitimate as `owlam (Strong’s H5769) can mean ever or everlasting as well as old or ancient.

Getting more specific, we are told, “what does ‘Nephilim’ actually mean? Normally translated into English as ‘giants,’ the word stems from the Semitic root NFL (‘to be cast down’). It means exactly what it says – ‘Those who were cast down upon Earth’…writes Sitchin, ‘but Jewish writings of the time of the Second Temple did recognise in these verses the echoes of ancient traditions of ‘fallen angels.’”

So apparently, both Sitchin and Dowbenko mistake the identity of the Nephilim (or, rather Sitchin does and Dowbenko merely un-skeptically follows his lead). In any case, there is much debate concerning the definition of the term nephiyl. Strong’s defines it as “properly, a feller, i.e. a bully or tyrant:—giant.” When assumed to have its roots in Hebrew it is thought to come from naphal (Strong’s H5307) which is “A primitive root; to fall, in a great variety of applications…cast (down, self, [lots], out), cease, die, divide (by lot), (let) fail, (cause to, let, make, ready to) fall (away, down…overthrow, overwhelm, perish, present (-ed, -ing), (make to) rot, slay, smite out, X surely, throw down.” In turn, naphal is the primitive root of nephel (Strong’s H5309) which refers to “something fallen, i.e. an abortion:—untimely birth” (Job 3:16, Psalm 58:8 and Ecclesiastes 6:3).
However, it appears more likely that the term nephiyl derives from the Aramaic root naphiyla which means giant (which is actually a generic term which merely means taller than the average and note that Hebrew males of those days were 5.5 ft.).

Uri Dowbenko writes:

Apocryphal texts like the Book of Enoch, the Pseudepigrapha, and other politically incorrect so-called “Lost” Books of the Bible reflect a precise knowledge of fallen angels on Earth. In fact, scholars maintain that there were two accounts of separate “falls” of the angels. First, there was the archangel’s rebellion against God and his fall through pride, in which he was followed by other angels – the Nephilim. And second, there was the story of angels who “fell” (lowered their vibration and began their incarnations on Earth) through lusting after the daughters of men – the Watchers.

By “the archangel’s rebellion” he is clearly referring to Satan and yet, the Bible never refers to him as an Archangel and actually not even as an Angels. As per Ezekiel 28 Satan is a Cherub: Angles and Cherubim are different categories of being, they look different, have different titles, different job functions, etc.). Thus, the first regarding Angles is the Genesis 6 affair, as I like to term it.
Now, you can see how messy Dowbenko makes this by referring to Angels falling and incarnating on Earth as “the Watchers.” Now, “Watchers” is the Book of Enoch’s manner whereby to refer to they which Genesis 6 has as “sons of God.” Thus, the sons of God are Angels who are called Watchers in apocryphal texts and who fathered the Nephilim.
Now, indeed, within the Book of Enoch, the Watchers are fallen Angels who teach humanity certain tech such as sorcery, incantations, the making swords, knives, shields, etc. As an FYI: Dowbenko refers to “the three Books of Enoch” and indeed, there are various including one Books of Enoch which states that Enoch wrote 300 books, see here for more info on the Enoch texts: Dowbenko was referring to 1 Enoch aka Ethiopic Enoch.

Uri Dowbenko on reptilians / serpentines

Under continued consideration (find all segments here) is an article Uri Dowbenko published in New Dawn Magazine and is titled New (Reptilian) World Order, November 10, 2013 AD which is a a full frontal assault on anyone who disagrees with Dowbenko.

REPTILIANS / SERPENTINES
We now come to why the article was titled, “New (Reptilian) World Order” as Uri Dowbenko references his next source of info in noting R.A. Boulay wrote, “it is possible to piece together the story of our ancestry which lies in the coming of the alien serpent-gods or astronauts who colonised earth many eons ago.” This is followed by a hodge·podge of claims such as that “The Sumerian legend of Gilgamesh and Agga points to this interaction of ‘humans’ and ‘serpents,’” and Big Foot???, there are “serpent gods” related to “Indus Valley, the Nagas or Serpent race of Ancient India, and the Hindu epics” also Chinese history referring to “Vih King” and dragons, as well as references in American mythology such as the Mayan, St. George and the “dragon,” St. Patrick and “serpents” in Ireland, etc.

Interestingly, personages such as Uri Dowbenko question key aspects of the traditional theory of evolution and spike it with claims that “the Anunnaki genetic engineering was done by as Boulay puts it, “combining the characteristics of the native ape man or neanderthal with their own saurian nature” Dowbenko wirtes, “producing the so-called Adam of the Old Testament” with Boulay adding, “This Adam was half-human and half-reptile, however, and being a clone could not reproduce himself.” We are then told “Berossus, the Babylonian priest writing in 3rd century BCE Athens, claimed that man’s ancestry and origin can be traced to ‘Oannes,’ an amphibious creature that came out of the Persian Gulf to teach the arts of civilisation to man.”
FYI: “BCE” is an anti-Christian manner whereby to refer to “BC” (see here) also, the Oannes issue is not that simple nor straightforward, see Dagon and the Dogon: Serious Sirius mystery – Nommo and Oannes.

We are then told, “ancient Jewish legends describe the Serpent of Eden as manlike. In other words, he looked like a man and talked like a man.” I would say that this is a potentially very complex issue since, in essence, Genesis refers to a “serpent” and while we can all guess to whom that refers, a specific identification is not given until Revelation chaps 12 and 20 (see On satan, divination and metal).

As Louis Ginzberg succinctly elucidates in The Legends of the Jews, Volume I, “From the Creation to Jacob,” Chapter II, “Adam,” Section “Fall of Man”:

Among the animals the serpent was notable. Of all of them he had the most excellent qualities, in some of which he resembled man. Like man he stood upright upon two feet, and in height he was equal to the camel. Had it not been for the fall of man, which brought misfortune to them, too, one pair of serpents would have sufficed to perform all the work man has to do, and, besides, they would have supplied him with silver, gold, gems, and pearls. As a matter of fact, it was the very ability of the serpent that led to the ruin of man and his own ruin. His superior mental gifts caused him to become an infidel. It likewise explains his envy of man, especially of his conjugal relations. Envy made him meditate ways and means of bringing about the death of Adam.

Well, a physical description of the “serpent” is not given in Genesis nor the Bible as a whole—except that he/it spoke. Yet, since Satan is a Cherub then he/it only “resembled man” in that humans and Cherubim seem to both have basic humanoid bodies: a head, torso, legs, arms and/or hands however, Cherubim have four wings, four faces and hoof-like “feet” so that yet, “he stood upright upon two feet” although we know nothing about the “height” (note that this identification of the “serpent” as a Cherub help us make sense as to why it was specifically two Cherubim that were placed to guard the entrance to the Garden of Eden).

To Uri Dowbenko, the “ancient Jewish legends” describe “attributes of the Anunnaki.” Yet, beyond this, Ginzberg’s “Fall of Man” section also states:

Adam spoke to Eve: “Didst thou give me of the tree of which I forbade thee to eat? Thou didst give me thereof, for my eyes are opened, and the teeth in my mouth are set on edge.” Eve made answer, “As my teeth were set on edge, so may the teeth of all living beings be set on edge.” The first result was that Adam and Eve became naked. Before, their bodies had been overlaid with a horny skin, and enveloped with the cloud of glory. No sooner had they violated the command given them than the cloud of glory and the horny skin dropped from them, and they stood there in their nakedness, and ashamed…

Yet, of course, Haggadah is Jewish folklore and is not theologically or historically authoritative but could come from centuries and most often millennia after Genesis was written.

For whatever it is worth, the Dead Sea Scrolls’ 4Q542 aka Testament of Amram or Qahat or Kohath states, “I saw Watchers in my vision, the dream-vision…dreadfully frightening, and his skin was multicoloured, darkly glittering scales.”

In any case, “‘The coming of the Anunnaki coincided with the end of this period as the Earth began to dry out and the meat-eating dinosaurs and small mammals appeared,’ says Boulay. ‘The reptile gods needed moisture and warmth….the serpent gods were tall, at least 8 to 10 feet, and walked on two feet. They had a tail like a reptile and a tough hide somewhat like a lizard but with a large amount of horny or scaly skin…They had short horns…The sons of the Serpent gods, the Nephilim of the Bible, which descended before the Deluge and mated with human women also dabbled in genetic engineering.’”

We then come to the next source of Uri Dowbenko’s info and that is David Icke who notes that “reptilian…originate in the Draco star constellation” which is somewhat circular as “Draco” refer to “Dragon.” Dowbenko notes that “Icke’s book” The Biggest Secret “sounds like a grade-Z sci-fi movie – until you read the evidence” which I will augment to say “Icke’s book…sounds like a grade-Z sci-fi movie – until you realize that it fits into your anti-Christian biased agenda and will thus, accept anything and everything that supports that.”

And with that, Dowbenko and Icke bring us directly into one of the purest sources of literally Satanic theory, “Gnostics, rivals to the early Christians, relate that as a result of eating the fruit, Adam and Eve achieved knowledge, part of which was to realise that their creators were beastly forms.” Icke also tells us that “The rite of circumcision also served as a perpetual reminder to man that his true origins lay in the serpent-god creator and that he existed at the forbearance of these gods.”

In this frenzy to re-write all things biblical, we are told, “Boulay proposes an alternative rationale” for the Cain and Abel event, “For instance, in the Apocalypse of Adam, a Gnostic document of the 1st century CE, Adam reveals to his son Seth ‘that the Lord who created us created a son from himself and Eve your mother…If the deity was the father of Cain, while Adam sired Abel,’ writes Boulay, ‘it would explain further events – Cain would be semi-divine, part-reptilian and more ‘god’-like.’”
Basically, the drive is towards the serpent seed of Satan theory about which I have written much, see here.

Due to whatever mechanics, David Icke asserts, “These same reptilians have been occupying the bodies of all the main players in the conspiracy going back to ancient times…they were being controlled through physical bodies that look human by a fourth dimensional force.”

In order to buttress this Uri Dowbenko turns to Barbara Hand Clow who, he tells us, “excels in shamanic cosmology, an intuitive storytelling technique that integrates history, legend and myth using her own internal guidance.” What this means is tantamount to spilling out the contents of 10 jigsaw puzzles on the floor, mixing them together and putting together whatever Clow wants to see as an end result regardless of the fact that she has to cut some pieces to fit, glue others, throw some away, etc.

Clow tells us of the “‘lizard race’ from her own perspective” with the Anunnaki having “achieved the ability to incarnate” which is odd since they are supposed to have been physical beings and we were previously told that the Anunnaki were at least 8 to 10 feet tall. Yet, in any case, it is convenient to claim that they needed to incarnate because then they can take on any form (human male or female of any color and height) so that not one can possibly be asked to go through the trouble of show you evidence of 8-10 ft. tall reptilian alien humanoid.

Barbara Hand Clow, takes this avoidance of tactic even further, “No longer will they have to persuade the people to build temples in order to link up to their own control centres; no longer will they require a channel to enter Earth; now they can become humans themselves.”
Yet, she also tells us, “various non-physical lizards creeping around the canals of Baalbek” and since that is a very specific claim which results in you asking her to take you there and show you she backs up to state that they are “fourth dimensional reptiles” so that you cannot see them—even though they are in the habit of “occasionally eating someone up”—they like “entering the third dimension” and “becoming…a Stephen King, or making the twentieth century film that creates fear of the act of eating, the ‘Night of the Living Dead/ They will even baldly show themselves for who they really are by creating a movie called ‘V.’” In other words, Barbara Hand Clow needs to stop exposing herself to so much fantasy-sci fi-horror fiction.

By the way, concepts such as “fourth dimensional reptiles…entering the third dimension” is that which leads people to the embarrassing cottage industry of claiming that you can catch these critters right there on your TV. If the satellite signal glitches for a second or someone clenches their jaw, we hear claims that the person is actually a shapeshifter, phasing from 3rd to 4th dimensions and back again, etc.

shape2bshifting2breptilian2b5-1079423

shape2bshifting2breptilian2b7-1882366

Regarding the New World Order, we are told, “Clow calls them the World Management Team, which she defines as ‘individuals in the third dimension who are controlled by the Anunnaki who impulse them to carry out plans that benefit Nibiru and not Earth.” Nibiru aka Planet X is supposed to be a member of our Solar System yet, one with an orbit which has it actually entering the Solar System every once in 27-million-years.

Review of Uri Dowbenko’s New Dawn Magazine article “New (Reptilian) World Order”

Under consideration is an article Uri Dowbenko who is an “artist-author,” publisher and ran an advertising, marketing and publicity business. The article was published in New Dawn Magazine and is titled New (Reptilian) World Order, November 10, 2013 AD.
New Dawn magazine is self-described as a publication that “explores ancient wisdom and new thinking while encouraging greater awareness and open-mindedness. Each thought-provoking issue examines the hidden dimensions of society, culture, history, religion and current events in a non-dogmatic manner.” However, in utter contradiction of this, the article is a full frontal assault on anyone who disagrees with Dowbenko. It is peppered if not saturate with inaccuracies, gigantic leaps of (il)logic and incoherencies. Basically, Dowbenko read works by various outlandish pop-researchers and say, “Yup!” Yet, it is instructional on various levels.

The segments of my review are as follows:
The Christ
Nephilim aka Annunaki
Reptilian / Serpentines
Sex and the Edited Bible
Salvation as Slavery

The premise is the question, “What if Planet Earth was ostensibly run by a race of shape-shifting reptilians?” The answer proposed is that the answer is “Yes” and that the solution is to bad mouth Christianity, become Christs—oh yeah, and have a bunch of guilt free sex of whatever sort you wish.

Uri Dowbenko notes that “Serpents and flying dragons have, of course, been a staple of ancient myth and legends of indigenous people around the world” and that these are generally explained (away) as “metaphor or allegory – and not a literal description.”

THE CHRIST
Let us get right to Jesus as He is such an unavoidable figure that everyone want to claim Him for themselves even if they have to reinvent Him, Dowbenko quotes an author whom we will meet later as referring to “Christos. A being of such love and compassion” but not the Jesus the Christ of reality, of history of the Bible which we can know since he writes, “It is an awesome choice then for the residents of Earth – to be or not to be the Christ.”

Dowbenko tells us, “But what about the admonition of Jesus and John the Baptist when they chided the ‘generation of vipers’ and ‘serpents’? What if they saw these creatures with their spiritual vision – the overshadowing of humans by astral beings from another dimension? How would they communicate this vision to others?”
But who/what are “these creatures”? Well, Uri Dowbenko writes, “Satan and the fallen angels are often pictured as serpent-reptilians themselves” and that one that “In one of the seemingly uncensored passages in the scriptures” more on this point later, “Jesus rebuked them” so the “them” here is supposed to be “Satan and the fallen angels” to whom the uncensored passage has Jesus “saying, ‘Ye serpents! Ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?…” (Matthew 23). Moreover, Dowbenko tells us “More references to the ‘generation of vipers’ are in Matt. 3:7, Matt. 12:34-35 and Luke 3:7. They are also called ‘princes of this world.’ Despite censoring, tampering and editing the Bible, code words or euphemisms for this reptilian race in the Old Testament include terms like ‘the wicked,’ ‘mighty men,’ ‘the giants,’ and ‘evildoers.’”

From this last sentence you can get an idea of Dowbenko’s modus operandi: promulgate uncontextual grab-bag concoctions.

An example of New Dawn Magazine’s cutting edge reporting

Let us unpack these claims:
So Jesus referred to “Satan and the fallen angels” as a “generation of vipers” and “serpents” in Matthew 23. Well no, Jesus was addressing the scribes and Pharisees not due to being evil paranormal beings but due to being “hypocrites” which is how he refers to them seven times in that one chapter alone thus, this is the context. He notes, “Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers” because they are “partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.”

What of the other texts? Note that they are cited but not quoted which amounts to elephant hurling on Uri Dowbenko’s part since it makes it look impressive, as if he has lots of info. Matthew 3:7, “he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?” Tantamount to what we just reviewed: not Satan, not fallen Angels, etc. Matthew 12:34-35, “O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.” Tantamount to what we just re-reviewed: not Satan, not fallen Angels, etc.

Luke 3:7, “Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?” Either Dowbenko did not realize that this is a reiteration of Matthew 3:7 or he was attempting to puff up his claims.

Next, are “They…called ‘princes of this world’? Note the plural princes. Well, this time he gives us a quotation, even if partial, but no citation. Well, this comes from John’s gospel and does refer to Satan but to him alone as in each of the three instances in which it is stated “prince” is in the singular as archōn (Strong’s G758). John 12:31, “Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out,” John 14:30, “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me” and John 16:11, “Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.”
