Review of Uri Dowbenko’s New Dawn Magazine article “New (Reptilian) World Order”

Under consideration is an article Uri Dowbenko who is an “artist-author,” publisher and ran an advertising, marketing and publicity business. The article was published in New Dawn Magazine and is titled New (Reptilian) World Order, November 10, 2013 AD.
New Dawn magazine is self-described as a publication that “explores ancient wisdom and new thinking while encouraging greater awareness and open-mindedness. Each thought-provoking issue examines the hidden dimensions of society, culture, history, religion and current events in a non-dogmatic manner.” However, in utter contradiction of this, the article is a full frontal assault on anyone who disagrees with Dowbenko. It is peppered if not saturate with inaccuracies, gigantic leaps of (il)logic and incoherencies. Basically, Dowbenko read works by various outlandish pop-researchers and say, “Yup!” Yet, it is instructional on various levels.

The segments of my review are as follows:
The Christ
Nephilim aka Annunaki
Reptilian / Serpentines
Sex and the Edited Bible
Salvation as Slavery

The premise is the question, “What if Planet Earth was ostensibly run by a race of shape-shifting reptilians?” The answer proposed is that the answer is “Yes” and that the solution is to bad mouth Christianity, become Christs—oh yeah, and have a bunch of guilt free sex of whatever sort you wish.

Uri Dowbenko notes that “Serpents and flying dragons have, of course, been a staple of ancient myth and legends of indigenous people around the world” and that these are generally explained (away) as “metaphor or allegory – and not a literal description.”

THE CHRIST
Let us get right to Jesus as He is such an unavoidable figure that everyone want to claim Him for themselves even if they have to reinvent Him, Dowbenko quotes an author whom we will meet later as referring to “Christos. A being of such love and compassion” but not the Jesus the Christ of reality, of history of the Bible which we can know since he writes, “It is an awesome choice then for the residents of Earth – to be or not to be the Christ.”

Dowbenko tells us, “But what about the admonition of Jesus and John the Baptist when they chided the ‘generation of vipers’ and ‘serpents’? What if they saw these creatures with their spiritual vision – the overshadowing of humans by astral beings from another dimension? How would they communicate this vision to others?”
But who/what are “these creatures”? Well, Uri Dowbenko writes, “Satan and the fallen angels are often pictured as serpent-reptilians themselves” and that one that “In one of the seemingly uncensored passages in the scriptures” more on this point later, “Jesus rebuked them” so the “them” here is supposed to be “Satan and the fallen angels” to whom the uncensored passage has Jesus “saying, ‘Ye serpents! Ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?…” (Matthew 23). Moreover, Dowbenko tells us “More references to the ‘generation of vipers’ are in Matt. 3:7, Matt. 12:34-35 and Luke 3:7. They are also called ‘princes of this world.’ Despite censoring, tampering and editing the Bible, code words or euphemisms for this reptilian race in the Old Testament include terms like ‘the wicked,’ ‘mighty men,’ ‘the giants,’ and ‘evildoers.’”

From this last sentence you can get an idea of Dowbenko’s modus operandi: promulgate uncontextual grab-bag concoctions.

An example of New Dawn Magazine’s cutting edge reporting

Let us unpack these claims:
So Jesus referred to “Satan and the fallen angels” as a “generation of vipers” and “serpents” in Matthew 23. Well no, Jesus was addressing the scribes and Pharisees not due to being evil paranormal beings but due to being “hypocrites” which is how he refers to them seven times in that one chapter alone thus, this is the context. He notes, “Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers” because they are “partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.”

What of the other texts? Note that they are cited but not quoted which amounts to elephant hurling on Uri Dowbenko’s part since it makes it look impressive, as if he has lots of info. Matthew 3:7, “he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?” Tantamount to what we just reviewed: not Satan, not fallen Angels, etc. Matthew 12:34-35, “O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.” Tantamount to what we just re-reviewed: not Satan, not fallen Angels, etc.

Luke 3:7, “Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?” Either Dowbenko did not realize that this is a reiteration of Matthew 3:7 or he was attempting to puff up his claims.

Next, are “They…called ‘princes of this world’? Note the plural princes. Well, this time he gives us a quotation, even if partial, but no citation. Well, this comes from John’s gospel and does refer to Satan but to him alone as in each of the three instances in which it is stated “prince” is in the singular as archōn (Strong’s G758). John 12:31, “Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out,” John 14:30, “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me” and John 16:11, “Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.”
