Christianity

The answer is, “No.” But what, exactly, was the question?
This is where taking the time to consider the question, or argument, carefully is important before offering an answer, or counterargument.

The question was, “Do Christians believe in talking serpents [plural] and talking donkeys [plural]?” You see, this is called puffing up, speaking hyperbolically, exaggerating something for the sake of effect. The fact is that Christians do not believe in a plurality, more than one, talking serpent or talking donkey.

Christianity

Have you ever shaken your head in disbelief at the expounding of certain Christian teachers? Do these people seem to be false prophets, deceivers, ignorant and unstable, promoters of controversies, ferocious wolves, who offer meaningless talk, who are conceited and understand nothing, who exploit you, who tell fortunes for money, and use godliness as a means to financial gain?

Easter

Pray tell, what do Atheists do every Christmas?

And I mean besides telling anyone who (does not) care to listen, that it is all so very stupid—and besides raking in the presents from mommy and daddy?

They, like the mainstream media, get foaming at the mouth ravenously angry at Christians enjoying themselves and so they hit the airwaves, cyberspace, print media, etc. in order to inform us that, you guessed it, Christmas (and Easter) are Pagan—because for some reason this has something or other to do with Atheism.

Now, as you can see in the following, this is not true in either case:

Atheism and Earth Day…and Easter and Christmas

Pray tell, what do Atheists do every Christmas?

And I mean besides telling anyone who (does not) care to listen, that it is all so very stupid—and besides raking in the presents from mommy and daddy?

They, like the mainstream media, get foaming at the mouth ravenously angry at Christians enjoying themselves and so they hit the airwaves, cyberspace, print media, etc. in order to inform us that, you guessed it, Christmas (and Easter) are Pagan—because for some reason this has something or other to do with Atheism.

Now, as you can see in the following, this is not true in either case:
Book review: “Christmas is Pagan and Other Myths”
“Easter Is Evil and Other Fables” by JP Holding – book review

In any case, what saith Atheists about Earth Day? Well, I hear crickets chirping when I should hear them vociferously decrying it. If there was ever a “holiday” which not only has Pagan roots but is, in essence, Pagan it would be Earth Day—setting aside the PR one-liner about it being concern for the environment, etc. And Earth Day is openly celebrated and endorsed in tax payer funded public schools.

But why do Atheists have nothing to say on this issue? It seems to me that the answer is, at least, twofold.

1) Atheism is primarily an anti-Christian support group and so they say nothing against Earth Day for the same reason that they say nothing against Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Ramadan, etc. and that is because they really do not care about such things but only care about besmirching Christianity—generally, as you can see here, due to rebelling against mommy and daddy and taking it out on God.

2) Atheism itself is neo-Pagan so why would they shoot themselves in the foot?

You see, Atheists have done a good job pretending that Atheism has something to do with science when, in fact, Atheism has nothing to do with science and science has nothing to do with Atheism.
Yet, when you discern the manner whereby the use the tactic of simply repeating the term “science” time and again you will note that they replace awe in God with awe in nature and this amounts to neo-Paganism—see here.

Christianity

Well, it happened again and so it seemed like a good opportunity to write on this issue. A self-professed skeptic attempted to, at least, downplay the Messiah, Jesus’, ethics by asserting that “The golden rule, prescribed by Confucius around 500 BCE.”

For the uninitiated, BCE is an anti-Christian manner of referring to BC. BCE means Before Common Era and BC means Before Christ. BCE is meant to disregard Jesus whilst still making use of the very same calendar which pivots history upon His birth—go figure.
