Worldview preview of “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” movie

From the little that is known about this movie thus far (due to be released March 22, 2019 AD), it seems to be sort for which I do not care in terms of action sequences but will interest me in terms of worldview philosophizing. See the video of my version of the trailer at the end of this article.

godzilla2bking2bof2bthe2bmonsters2b1-8547507

The 2014 AD Godzilla movie emphasized the concept of Gaia by any other name: that nature finds a way to balance things out. In this case, Godzilla was a styled agent of nature that would set things right.

The 2019 AD version seems that it will be a socio-politico, mythical Pagan tale. The premise is that humanity is destroying the planet and while this such anthropocentric climate change scenarios are all the rage these days, the fact is that the original Godzilla mythos began as a warning against nuclear pollution.

godzilla2bking2bof2bthe2bmonsters2b2-8141114

In this case, the Earth is out of balance—with humans being at fault—and so the key traditional Godzilla mythos monsters return to set things right ergo, ordo ab chao. That is to say that these monsters are revived to bring about massive destruction in the style of order out of chaos—or, they are awakened due to environmental upheaval and Godzilla has to defeat them in order to restore the balance.

A key mythical feature on this version is that the monsters are collectively called Titans. Within Greek mythology, Titans are hybrid offspring of gods and humans who were very large and tyrannical.

godzilla2bking2bof2bthe2bmonsters2b4-7438755

Not ironically, this version is about the King as in monarch of the Monsters and features a “crypto-zoological agency Monarch” who “face off against a battery of god-sized monsters” and although I am unsure where the god-size metric is, note that large animals are being correlated to gods—at least on some level.
These includd Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah who are of “ancient super-species” which “thought to be mere myths – rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.”

Simply due to sheer god-sized issues, it is not surprising that the movie Godzilla vs. Kong is due to be released May 22, 2020 AD—of course, such has already been done in 1962 AD as King Kong vs. Godzilla. Thus, the monarch Kong will battle the monarch Godzilla.

You may recall, and if not be now aware, that as I noted in Symbolism and subtexts in Kong: Skull Island this clash of Titans is not merely due to the giant monster angle but due to the secret government Monarch agency.

Indeed, the Kong movie featured it and so will the new Godzilla one as Monarch Sciences. In real life, Monarch is claimed to be amongst the various mind control experiments/programs within the MK-Ultra (or any of the MKs) category.

Monarch Sciences apparently aka Reach Monarch now have a web site, Twitter page, etc. and following are some of their styled reports on the Titans.

monarch-5010104

reach2bmonarch-6492091

Mothra – Titanus Mosura:
“From erased Nazca lines to the hidden Temple of the Moth, the name ‘Mothra’ is woven throughout the most secret mythologies of our planet. The folklore and fairy tales tell of a winged creature of blinding light, an angel of the clouds whose god-like luminescence has the power to shatter the sky.”

An Ancient Aliens-like theme is clearly discernable. Moreover:

“Ancient spirit tablets discovered in the mountain jungles of the Yunnan Province portray a giant winged alpha of the Lepidoptera order. In all of our findings, human civilization is pictographically shown in poses that imply deification of the so-called ‘Queen of the Monsters’, suggesting the creature was once a benign part of the natural order.”

Within the movie, Monarch crews “discovered the live Titan chrysalis within the Chinese myth site…If she ever emerges from her ancient slumber, a superspecies that once illuminated the sky will be reborn as Mothra.”

godzilla2bking2bof2bthe2bmonsters2b3-8730718

Rodan – Titanus Rodan:
“Within a Monarch containment facility atop the active Isla de Mona volcano, a mysterious Titan lies in pyrostasis within the restless magma. The legends speak of it as the ‘Fire Demon’ or ‘The One Born of Fire’, but a simpler name echoes through the ancient temples of volcanically active regions: ‘Rodan.’”

Ghidorah – Monster Zero:
“From the Hydra to the Rainbow Serpent, myth was the compass that led us to the resting place of the three-headed Titan. A name, unspoken through millennia of whispered nightmares. A living extinction event, named ‘the one who is many.’”

Thus, as aforementioned: this movie is sure to combine sociology, politics, climate change, mythology, Paganism, etc., etc., etc.

Self-publishing books love/hate relationship & please buy directly from authors

Self-publishing is getting a lot more respect now a days in part because publishing companies are seeing that it has become very popular, they are following the money and establishing divisions that manage self-publishing. Also, it is being recognized that self-publishing authors do not solely resort to doing so because they cannot cut it: do not write well enough to have their books accepted by publishers, etc.

There are other issue involved such as not wanting to give up copyrights, wanting ultimate creative control, and not wanting to or not being able to, for example as my friend did, pay $700.00 just for a book cover. When you add the cost of editing, front matter, index, marketing, etc., etc., etc. it can easily cost authors thousands to publish their book(s): someone I know is currently paying $5,000 to have his book published.

Indeed, I have a love/hate relationship with self-publishing: Love it because I am in control, if I want to change/edit anything I do it on my own and on my own time, I can write about any subject I want, etc.

Hate it because there is no marketing involved and so, for example, if you sell them on Amazon you are just a tiny drop in a ginormous bucket and are thus, virtually invisible.

books20patreon-4091578

This brings me to the please buy directly from authors point because, back to my example, when you purchase from Amazon they essentially get a huge cut of the money for doing nothing but listing your book on their site (and, of course, they put the paperback together).
Thus, it is always a good idea to purchase books directly from the author as that way, the author make a little more money per book. On Amazon, as my ongoing example, you can click on the author’s name which should take you to that author’s page and their bio should have a link to a website from which you can contact them directly—or, otherwise, just see if you can look them up online.

I was selling my books via CreateSpace (where I actually create the books) and also via Amazon. CreateSpace paid higher royalties than Amazon (even though CreateSpace is an Amazon related company). Well, they recently closed down their e-store so now my books are technically only available on Amazon, which pays really low royalties—it is literally hardly worth it for an author to sell books on Amazon unless they are writing about weight loss, business, romance novels, etc.

Thus, I would like to make a mutually beneficial offer—if you (and all of those whom you will surely tell ;o)—will buy my books directly from me then I can make a little bit of a better royalty and you can save some money.

1. Just look up the book(s) you want at Amazon or see below.

2. Use donate page here.

3. There, once on the PayPay page you can…okay so, here is the deal: free shipping for all.
If you do not get free shipping on Amazon then just enter the selling price of the book and I will not charge you for shipping.
If you already get free shipping on Amazon then just take a couple of bucks off of the book price, I will not charge for shipping and we will call it even.

4. On the PayPay page: click on “Share my mailing address with TrueFreeThinker” so that we can connect about which book(s) you want—if there is no way to communicate that info within PayPal (I will not email spam you or mass email you ever).

I pray that you and whomever you will share the info with will be able to help me out by purchasing some books and that I can help a little by saving you a few bucks, at least.

Thank you for hearing me out (or, reading me out).

A Judaism vs. Judaism debate

Description:

This book reviews some objections to the claim that Jesus is the Messiah and responds to them by appealing to Judaism’s very own literature—from ancient to modern. In short, this text combines considerations of Jewish literacy and Jewish history (or Judaism history) in terms of that which Rabbinic authority, Rabbinic council, Rabbinic tradition had to say about the Messiah complex (as in complicated and also as in to seek to achieve) so as to determine to answer the question is Jesus calling us to accept Him as Messiah? cover2b-2bthe2bantichrist2bcookbook-5781805

Description:

The purpose of this work is to review that which 35 apocryphal texts state about Jesus and to do so for various reasons. One reason is that some people have the idea that such apocryphal text, by any other name such as alternate gospels, portray Jesus in very different terms than does the New Testament or subsequent Christian theology. Such ideas are promulgated largely by pop-researchers and popularizers of Gnosticism, zeitgeist-style theorists, Jesus mythicists, et al. Each section concludes with a “Score” wherein is given a succinct review of that which the text stated in agreement with the New Testament and what “unique features” it contained. Additionally, an appendix lists 210 citations to texts that reference Jesus from within the first two centuries AD.

Will you follow the apocryphal Jesus or is Jesus calling you to the true truth?

A point by point consideration of Rev. Because we now have a better understanding of original languages, the grammatical, historical and cultural context and finally realized that for millennia Jews and Christians have been wrong since they did not realize that the Bible approves of it? Because the politically correct cultural movement de jour demands that homosexuality not be condemned and that politics, laws, society, theology, etc. be changed in order to fit with the homosexual movement’s worldview? Why are homosexuals so overrepresented, and positively so, in various forms of media? Because they are such a vast majority that it makes statistical sense? Because there is a concerted effort to deconstruct, redefine and re-educate society so as to have it abandon Judeo-Christian principles?

Historical Jesus – Two Centuries Worth of Citations

The question as to how many early ancient texts there are which refer to Jesus is often proposed.

So, how many early references are there?

No one knows.

The logical question is: how many have been found and or how many do we know about? In other words, we do not know how many references there are since we may discover more manuscripts of ancient works tomorrow and do not know how many undiscovered or destroyed writings there actually have been. This seems like an obvious consideration but it seems particularly important to note considering that Jerusalem, the nexus of Jesus’ activity, was destroyed in 70 AD.

James H. Charlesworth, “Jesus did exist; and we know more about him than about almost any Palestinian Jew before 70 C.E.”1

Ed Parish Sanders, “We know a lot about Jesus, vastly more than about John the Baptist, Theudas, Judas the Galilean, or any of the other figures whose names we have from approximately the same date and place.”2

A. E. Harvey, commenting particularly on the crucifixion, “It would be no exaggeration to say that this event is better attested, and supported by a more impressive array of evidence, than any other event of comparable importance of which we have knowledge from the ancient world.”3

How much do we know about anyone who lived 2,000 years ago or 1,000 or less even?

Consider Tiberius Caesar. He was the Roman Emperor from 14-37 AD. How many non-Christian references do we know of which mention him within 150 years of his life? Nine.

Let us consider from whence our knowledge of Alexander the Great comes. Alexander lived 356-323 BC and we only know about him from two sources written circa one century after his death. Most of what we claim to know about him dates to 300 to 500 years after his death.

Below I will present a list of the names of texts and range of dates that they were written. This is not a complete list. I am calling upon the assistance of anyone who may read this and is aware of any that I may have missed, please do inform me of any that you note. Also, I have, more or less, followed the date range as suggested by the website Early Christian Writings, if you can provide different of more definite dates, please do inform me.

The list below attempts to cover references to “Jesus,” “Christ,” “Jesus Christ,” or references to Jesus Christ which are obvious within the context by titles such as “Lord,” “Savior,” or “Son,” or “Son of God,” etc.

The list will cover a period spanning from pre 70 AD to 200-250 AD (this stopping point is arbitrary). Note also that the list totals 210 texts. This number refers to the texts themselves and not to the number of times that Jesus is referenced in each text. Counting each reference would take us well beyond the 210 total. Furthermore, the number refers to the texts and not to each manuscript behind each text. Counting each manuscript would also take us well beyond the 210 total.
