When Atheists post anti-Christian billboard and bus adds; they are said be to wonderful expressions of freedom of speech and the media and pop-occulture applauds them for doing so (see Atheist Bus Ads and Billboards). When billboard and bus adds are posted pertaining to Islam, the Qur’an and Muslims; they are said be to anti-Islam, anti-Qur’an and anti-Muslim hate speech that will insight violence and the media and pop-occulture condemns them.
Such is the case with a new New York City ad campaign which have sparked headlines such as As Hate Crimes Increase, Officials Condemn ‘Vile’ Anti-Islam Ads In New York Subway (Christopher Mathias, Huffington Post, September 23, 2014 AD) and Anti-Islam ads coming to NYC buses, subways (CBS/AP, September 19, 2014 AD).
The Huffington Post begins with one, yes one, example of some crazy guy chasing Muslim women on foot whilst yelling anti-Arab sentiments and throwing a garbage can at them. While this is, most certainly, condemnatory; it meant to get you hot and juicy, to prepare you to accept censorship and thought crime. The headline asserts that “Hate Crimes Increase,” one example is offered and off they go into propagandizing. One of this particular hate crime’s victim states that this is why, as the report puts it, “the last thing New Yorkers need to see is the incendiary, Islamophobic ad blitz that will appear in the city’s public transit system this week.” It is claimed that the ads “equate Islam with the terrorism committed by groups like the Islamic State and al Qaeda”:
These ads are vile, hateful, indecent and only serve to fan the flames of intolerance,” Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) said in a statement Tuesday. “They have no place in a civilized society and should be resoundingly denounced throughout the four corners of our great and diverse city.
One can be assured that the next time Atheist want to post anti-Christian ads Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) will be there to condemn them as well—but do not hold your breath.
Our purpose is to ask that which not one within the media or pop-occulture is asking. What everyone is dealing with is how people will feel about the ads, how some may be offended, how their feelings will get hurt and as an added bonus; the hate crimes issue.
What no one wants to talk about is…well, hold on. Firstly, note that the first issue is that the ads were produced by Pamela Geller who is described by the Huff and puff Post as “a noted and prolific Islamophobe whose organization, the American Freedom Defense Initiative, has been listed by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a hate group.” This is a classic case of a logical fallacy known as an ad hominem aka genetic fallacy which is side stepping the issue, the argument and attacking the source instead. In other words, Pamela Geller is “a noted and prolific Islamophobe” and officially a founder of a “hate group” therefore, what she says must be wrong.
One may wonder whether besmirching Geller will result in her being the victim of a hate crime.
Well, she may be “a noted and prolific Islamophobe” and officially a founder of a “hate group,” we certainly do not care to support or butter her or her group yet, the issue is that which no one is talking about and that is; are the statements on the ads accurate or not?
See attached slideshow for the ads, one of which depicts side by side photos of a British musician in a recording booth and James Foley along with the man who beheaded him. The musician is under suspicion of being Foley’s executioner and so the ad reads, “Yesterday’s moderate is today’s headline,” “Executioner who beheaded reporter before he became a Jihadist,” Executioner who beheaded reporter after becoming devout,” It’s not Islamophobia, it’s Islamorealism.”
Of course, this is based on the assertion that the British musician is, indeed, the executioner. If he is not then the ad is in error on this point but the fact remains that somehow; the executioner became the executioner whether beginning as a moderate or not. The issue is that the executioner executed James Foley due to a worldview philosophy based on…this is where the propaganda hits the road as the question is whether the Qur’an allow for such action, condemns them or is silent on them.
For now, let us continue to the next ad which displays a photo of Adolf Hitler in the company of Haj Amin al-Husseini (grand mufti of Jerusalem during the 1920s and 1930s AD who is known as “Hitler’s Mufti” at least since the publication of David Dalin and John Rothmann’s book Icon of Evil: Hitler’s Mufti and the Rise of Radical Islam). The ad reads, “Islamic Jew-hatred: It’s in the Quran.” Also, “Two thirds of all US aid goes to Islamic countries. Stop the hate. End all aid to Islamic countries.” This ads is, therefore, twofold; a political statement about aid to Muslim countries and the key; a very specific claim to that Islamic Jew-hatred is in the Qur’an. Now, this is something that either is the case or it not and no one in the media or pop-occulture wants to even bother asking or checking whether it is the case or not. No such national conversation about this issue; we must learn comparative religion from newspaper snippeds, generic political statements from our great leaders and keep quite lest we be labeled anti-Islamic, Islamophobic, a hate group, etc. So, what does or does not the Qur’an contain Jew-hatred…to what, we shall come.
It may be informative to consult with the History Channel’s show “Saddam [as in Husein] and the Third Reich” which notes that Saddam’s regime was not only influenced by Nazis but were in direct communication with Nazis and were trained by Nazis (keeping in, mind that Saddam fluctuated from secularism to Islamic extremism as the political mood suited him).
Another ad reads, “Hamas is ISIS, Hamas is Al-Qaeda, Hamas is Boko Haram, Hamas is CAIR in America, Jihad is Jihad.” This one makes connections that are either borne out by the fact of the matter about each claimed connection or not.
One other ad features a quote that reads, “Killing Jews is Worship that draws us close to Allah” and provides a not very specific citation to “Hamas MTV” along with the statement, “That’s his Jiahd. What’s yours?”
Now to the point; the Hitler with Haj Amin al-Husseini ad contains the following web address: IslamicJewHatred.com which re-directs to http://pamelageller.com/islamic-antisemitism which is the page titled, “Islamic Antisemitism” specified with the hyperlink Islamic Jew Hatred. Well, the page begins, simply enough, with that which the media and pop-culture do not want to see and do not want to discuss. Under the title, “The Koran on the Jews” quotations and citation from the Koran aka Qur’an are provided and the facts of the matter are all too evident.
However, before viewing the evidence let us elucidate the doctrine of abrogation. There are two major periods within Muhammad’s life and therefore the Qur’an’s contents. The Median period concerns when Muhammad did not have great wealth, did not have many followers, was a minority and thus preached getting along, etc. The Mecca period depicts when Muhammad was very wealthy, had many followers, was very powerful and when he preached oppression, violence, subjugation, war, etc.
The doctrine of abrogation amounts to that the latter revelations supersede the former thus, Muslims are to forget about all of that getting along stuff and practice the opposite.
Here are some quotations to this effect from the website that no media or pop-occultural figure will quote:
“Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews…” (5:82).
“Curses were pronounced on those among the Children of Israel who rejected Faith, by the tongue of David and of Jesus the son of Mary: because they disobeyed and persisted in excesses.” (5:78).
“Is it ever so that when they make a covenant a party of them set it aside? The truth is, most of them believe not. And when there came to them a messenger from Allah [Muhammad], confirming what was with them [the Torah], a party of the people of the Book threw away the Book of Allah behind their backs, as if (it had been something) they did not know!” (2:100-101).
“The People of the Book know well that that is the truth from their Lord. Nor is Allah unmindful of what they do” (2:143-144).
“Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued” (9:29).
“And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah. That is their saying with their mouths. They imitate the saying of those who disbelieved of old. Allah (Himself) fighteth against them. How perverse are they!” (9:30)
The Jews killed their prophets (2:61; 2:87; 2:91; 3:21; 3:112; 3:181; 3:183; 4:155; 5:70), and boast “we killed the Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary” (4:157).
“Allah hath heard the taunt of those who say: ‘Truly, Allah is indigent and we are rich!’ We shall certainly record their word and (their act) of slaying the prophets in defiance of right, and We shall say: ‘Taste ye the penalty of the Scorching Fire!’” (3:181)
“Why do not the rabbis and the doctors of Law forbid them from their (habit of) uttering sinful words and eating things forbidden? Evil indeed are their works.” (5:63)
“The Jews say: ‘Allah’s hand is tied up.’ Be their hands tied up and be they accursed for the (blasphemy) they utter. Nay, both His hands are widely outstretched: He giveth and spendeth (of His bounty) as He pleaseth. But the revelation that cometh to thee from Allah increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. Amongst them we have placed enmity and hatred till the Day of Judgment. Every time they kindle the fire of war, Allah doth extinguish it; but they (ever) strive to do mischief on earth. And Allah loveth not those who do mischief” (5:64).
The Jews “strive to do mischief on earth” – that is, fasaad, for which the punishment is specified in 5:33: “they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land.”
“Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors. They will do you no harm, barring a trifling annoyance; if they come out to fight you, they will show you their backs, and no help shall they get. Shame is pitched over them (like a tent) wherever they are found, except when under a covenant (of protection) from Allah and from men; they draw on themselves wrath from Allah, and pitched over them is (the tent of) destitution. This because they rejected the Signs of Allah, and slew the prophets in defiance of right; this because they rebelled and transgressed beyond bounds.” (3:110-112)
“And because of their breaking their covenant, We have cursed them and made hard their hearts. They change words from their context and forget a part of that whereof they were admonished. Thou wilt not cease to discover treachery from all save a few of them. But bear with them and pardon them. Lo! Allah loveth the kindly (5:13).
“Among the People of the Book are some who, if entrusted with a hoard of gold, will (readily) pay it back; others, who, if entrusted with a single silver coin, will not repay it unless thou constantly stoodest demanding, because, they say, ‘there is no call on us (to keep faith) with these ignorant (Pagans).’ but they tell a lie against Allah, and (well) they know it.” (3:75)
“O Messenger! let not those grieve thee, who race each other into unbelief: (whether it be) among those who say ‘We believe’ with their lips but whose hearts have no faith; or it be among the Jews — men who will listen to any lie — will listen even to others who have never so much as come to thee. They change the words from their (right) times and places: they say, ‘If ye are given this, take it, but if not, beware!’ If any one’s trial is intended by Allah, thou hast no authority in the least for him against Allah. For such – it is not Allah’s will to purify their hearts. For them there is disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter a heavy punishment.” (5:41)
“There is a party of them who distort the Scripture with their tongues, that ye may think that what they say is from the Scripture, when it is not from the Scripture. And they say: It is from Allah, when it is not from Allah; and they speak a lie concerning Allah knowingly” (3:78).
“Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands, and then say: ‘This is from Allah,’ to traffic with it for miserable price! Woe to them for what their hands do write, and for the gain they make thereby.” (2:79)
“But because of their breach of their covenant, We cursed them, and made their hearts grow hard; they change the words from their (right) places and forget a good part of the message that was sent them, nor wilt thou cease to find them- barring a few – ever bent on (new) deceits: but forgive them, and overlook (their misdeeds): for Allah loveth those who are kind.” (5:13)

“For the iniquity of the Jews We made unlawful for them certain (foods) good and wholesome which had been lawful for them; in that they hindered many from Allah’s Way; that they took usury, though they were forbidden; and that they devoured men’s substance wrongfully; we have prepared for those among them who reject faith a grievous punishment.” (4:160-161)
“Thou wilt indeed find them, of all people, most greedy of life,-even more than the idolaters: Each one of them wishes He could be given a life of a thousand years: But the grant of such life will not save him from (due) punishment. For Allah sees well all that they do.” (2:96)
The page goes on to quote from Robert Spencer’s book, The Religion of Peace?, there are quotes from the Qur’an about how Jews are apes and pigs, a section titled, Islam: Instigator, Originator, Collaborator of the Final Solution, MEF and more.
The issue is that the facts are the facts but the media and pop-occulture of the USA do not function on the fact but rather, on emotions…and, of course, the disinterested public just “reasons” thusly, “Well, I saw it on the television so it must be true.”
