Transgenderism in Paradox Alice movie

Paradox Alice is a sci-fi movie that was released in October 15, 2013 AD and was directed by Eric Dapkewicz.
It stars Ethan Sharrett as Alex Foxe, Jeneta St. Clair as Alice Foxe, Sandra Staggs as Alice Gray, Liz Stewart as Red and Kim Mulligan as Nikki.

Since only one aspect of this movie is my reason for posting on it, I will cut to the chase and make a long story short.

It begins like many other space based sci-fi movies: lone spacecraft, the U.S.S. Red Queen, manned by a small crew. The ship’s artificial intellignece informs the crew that Earth has been destroyed and so they are the last remaning humans.

But, pray tell, how to repopulate the human race with only three males?

Well, one day the captain suddenly mutates into a female.

Now, meanwhile one of the crew members is cast as the standard punching bag as he is a believe in God, the Bible, etc.

Others tell him, “there is no God,” etc. But he believes and claims that the transgender male to female transformation was a miracle meant to give them a way to propogate humanity. In a statement of a neo-Genesis, as it were, he states that they will “start again, free of sin.”

When discussing repopulating humanity, the other male left offers a pro-abortion statement, “it’s her body, it’s her right to choice.” Apparently, abortion is so utterly essential that even if humanity will literaly die off, “it’s her body, it’s her right to choice” and a woman may not, after all, want to have a beautiful human baby.

In the meantime, the supposed God and Bible believer attempts to force himself upon the male-female. He calls her his “Eve” given to him by God and to the spaceship as the “Ark.” He claims to be a prophet and eventually, manages to outfit her with a collar that shocks her if she leaves his vicinity.

He then places a collar on the only other male in the universe and causes his head to explode—and then there were two. He then rapes the neo-woman and she manages to put a collar on him and pops his head—and then there was one or, two actually as became is pregnant.

The story is also peppered with some cute references to the now female attempting to get used to bras, urinating sitting down and having the males look at her in a manner unlike they did when she was a he—capiche?!?!

Due the reference to the “Red Queen” and “Alice” it is clear that there are some level of reference to Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There aka simply as Alice in Wonderland.

Reference is made to protandry aka sequential hermaphroditism which is when an organism commences life as a male but then changes into a female.

In the end, a pregnant Alice is seen reading the Bible to her babies (twins) in utero. The artificial intelligence tells her “I thought you disliked that book” to which Alice replies “No” and that “it is an amazing book.” The artificial intelligence tells her that it will research how to turn her back into a male but she does not want to.
