We continue considering the difference between Mariology (the study of Mary, the mother of Jesus) and Mariolatry (the worship of the fugazi Catholic “Mary”) via an example taken from Rev. Anthony Bus’ St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Chicago, Ill. Wherein they have built a sanctuary devoted to “Mary” which contains a idolatrous image (find all segments here).
Recall that we were told that “a call was heard…heard a call from Our Lady.” Well, one is not just minding one’s own business and hears a call from the Catholic “Mary” but via the various initiations that Catholic clergy undergoes, they become open to whatever entities are just waiting for someone to influence. In other words, they turn away from YHVH and His word and towards the traditions of men, inspired as they are by “doctrines of demons” (1 Timothy 4:1). For example, Catholic priests are forbidden to marry (and maintain their priesthood) but 1 Timothy 4:3 refers to one doctrine of demons being forbidding marriage. We will see that this tale correlates with the occult in more ways than one.
Another aspect of this who issue is the good ol’ concept of follow the money as we are told:
“Fr. Anthony recalled how in 1999, while his parish was experiencing deep financial difficulties, he decided to make a consecration of his life to Our Lady. During preparation for the consecration, he felt a ‘strong pull to Our Lady.’ ‘I heard Our Lady say in a very distinct way, ‘Make me Mother and Queen of the parish,’’ he recalled. ‘It was at that point, I consecrated the parish to Our Lady, and then it became very, very clear — an interior intuition or sense or detailed call — that she was asking for a sanctuary.’”
So they were in “deep financial difficulties” and he ends up with an idea, a call, to build something for which:
“the sanctuary’s planners will begin raising funds for the sanctuary itself, which is estimated to cost between $15 million to $20 million.”
That 15-20 MILLION pertain to the “sanctuary itself” means that the project costs a lot more than that. Considering that this is an inner-city temple to “Mary” one wonders what would have happened if the 15-20 million would have gone towards charity and not the worship of a false goddess.
Note also the gives description of becoming more and more possessed: He sold his soul to the fugazi “Mary”—“he decided to make a consecration of his life to Our Lady” and not Jesus. He began to experience demonic takeover of his mind—“During preparation for the consecration, he felt a ‘strong pull to Our Lady’” whereas Jesus states, “I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself” (John 12:32).
The demon can then guide him directly, no longer merely influencing—“I heard Our Lady say in a very distinct way, ‘Make me Mother and Queen of the parish’” whereas the realm Mary would never even think such a thing much less demand to be Queen of anything.
This was all confirmed, in his mind, via occult/New Age “interior intuition” whereas the Bible states:
“The heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick; who can understand it?” (Jeremiah 17:9)
This is very much that which happened to Juan Diego in Mexico in the 1500s AD when “Our Lady of Guadalupe” appeared to him at the location of the ruins of an abandoned temple to an Aztec goddess and demanded that a sanctuary be built in her honor. Firstly and sadly, neither Juan Diego nor Anthony Bus were discerning enough to simply say “The LORD rebuke you satan.” Secondly, what happened in the case of Juan Diego is obvious; a demon got bored after no longer being worshipped as a goddess and so came to be worshipped again as a goddess but this time in the guise of Mary (for a lot more info on this particular apparition see here).
Anthony Bus also states that “We’ve got to come into sacred silence” and, indeed, the sanctuary is devoted to the Catholic “Mary” where in the eucharist is worshipped 24/7 and where “sacred silence” is practiced. Moreover, we are told, “this sanctuary will be a place where they can come and just be” and this is more occult New Age practice; it means that you are to just sit there quietly, do nothing and become enlightened by just letting thing happen to you.
We have reviewed the aspect of how the dedicated devotion of the temple is to “Mary” and will leave that point off by noting how 2 Corinthians 11:3 is rendered in three Vatican approved Bibles.
The New Testament Rendered from the Original Greek with Explanatory Notes (Kleist-Lilly translation):
“But I fear lest, as the serpent seduced Eve by his cleverness, so your thoughts may be corrupted and fall from the single-minded devotion and purity you owe to Christ.”
The New Testament of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (trans. from the Latin Vulgate Challoner-Rhemis version):
“But I fear lest, as the serpent seduced Eve by his guile, so your minds may be corrupted and fall from a single devotion to Christ.”
The New American Bible:
“But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts may be corrupted from a sincere [and pure] commitment to Christ.”
Thus, even that which Catholic call “devotion” is worship no matter how they attempt to play semantic games.
