Let us peruse just a few corporations, companies, products, etc. which carry the variously termed name Lucifer, Lucis and Lucent.
As was noted in our previous article Lucifer means “light bearer” and has come to be used in various forms such as in the Latin/Spanish luz or Lucero (which is a popular last name), as lucid (clear) and elucidate (to make clear), as luminescent and illuminate or even Illuminati, etc., etc., etc.
But what is the relation between Lucifer, Lucis and Lucent? They are simply different terms for the same thing, the same being. But is the assertion that any and every such corporation, company, product are a product of Satanism, of devil worship by any other name? No. For all we know some companies are using terms related to Lucis and Lucent because they are emphasizing a product that pertains to light, in one way or another. Now, when corporations, companies, products use the term Lucifer it becomes clearer that they mean business, as it were. Of course, Lucifer, Lucis or Lucent, they could all be Satanic.
A simple example of the relation between Lucifer and Lucis is that Foster and Alice Bailey established the Lucifer Publishing Co. but later “changed” the name to Lucis Trust. We say “changed” in quote because it is only a change in the eyes of those who do not think about such things. Their goal is to being the world together into one unit via occult, New Age, practices:

This has been mere fuel to the fires, in a matter of speaking, of your curiosity so that you begin to, or keep on, thinking about why it is that people name their corporations, companies, products and for that matter movies, bands, albums, books, etc., etc., etc. that which they do.
It may be that they just think that certain names are cool or catchy. It may be that they do not realize what the names really mean. It could be that they are sending messages and tapping into occult powers.
In any case, it is up to use, in Jesus’ name and by the power of the Holy Spirit of YHVH, to be ever vigilant and discerning, “But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good” (1st Thessalonians 5:21).
