Coming as it does from a site devoted to “Art & Sorcery,” Teufelskunst provides us with a great example of how some occultists, by any other name, and those who claim they are Christians and who hold to the serpent seedline of Satan theory are in agreement.
The article in view is part info and part product advertisement, Adramelech Qliphothic Incense, April 14, 2016 AD.
I touched upon the Qliphot in my article Cell phones, Kabbalah and sigil magick: in short, this refers to evil within the context of Rabbinic Judaism’s mysticism via the Kabbalah.
Any such interaction with false demon gods is rightly condemned by the Bible—as well as common sense (or, in this case, common incense). In fact, the identification of Adramelech is pieced together by Teufelskunst from various and sundry sources such as Collin de Plancy’s Dictionnaire Infernal, the Yazidi, the Qur’an/Koran, Jewish folklore, the Old Testament, Greek mythology, astrology, the Maya, etc. which does not lead to a true knowledge of that with which you are dealing when you seek to interact with Adramelech via incense or otherwise related rituals.
Rather, the author of the article is simply picking and choosing this or that supposed correlation some based on something which seems to be “evoking associations” to this and others which “resembles” that. This amounts to astonishingly dangerous grounds upon which to tread.
Now, my interest in my ongoing research into the issue of the serpent seed of Satan theory and so we will consider those point which touch upon that issue—you can find my whole seedline of Satan series here.
Adramelech is mentioned, in passing, in the Bible:
And the men of Babylon made Succothbenoth, and the men of Cuth made Nergal, and the men of Hamath made Ashima,
And the Avites made Nibhaz and Tartak, and the Sepharvites burnt their children in fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the gods of Sepharvaim (2 King 17:30-31).
‘Adrammelek / Adrammelech (Strong’s H152) means “honour of the king,” “Adar is prince” and/or “Adar is Counsellor, Decider.” ‘Anammelek / Anammelech (Strong’s H6048) means “image of the king.”
These were deities of the Sepharvites and Assyrians. Adrammelech is also the name of the son and murderer of Sennacherib as per 2 King 19:37 and Isaiah 37:38.
The article notes:
Adramelech, the ruler of the eighth qlipha on the tree of death. The corresponding qlipha is named Samael, Hebrew לאמס, meaning “poison of god”…In Collin de Plancy’s Dictionnaire Infernal, Adramelech is depicted as a mule with peacock feathers, evoking associations with Melek Taus, the “peacock angel” of Yazidi religion. Melek Taus is worshiped for his independence, since he refused to bow to Adam, the first created human…reasoned that he was made of god’s own light and could not bow to Adam, who was made of dust. (emphasis in original)
At this point, note that tales of Satan, by any other name, refusing God commanding him to worship Adam is not biblical but are not uncommon to folklore. In fact, the Qur’an/Koran is largely a collection of Rabbinic folklore which whomever wrote the Qur’an/Koran may have confused for the Jewish scripture—for some background, see On the Qur’an’s Composition.
Also see The Books, or Life, of Adam and Eve: why is it not in the Bible.
The article goes on to note that Adramelech:
…features as the “angel of death” in Jewish lore. In the old testament he appears as the serpent in the garden of Eden, and as a demonic entity and spouse of Lilith. As the serpent in the garden, Samael seduces Eve to eat of the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil…Samael delivers the gift of gnosis to the first humans, even though god had forbidden them to partake of it. Henceforth they are expelled from the garden, and the serpent along with them. Samael becomes the consort of Lilith and they breed demonic children. Eve, impregnated with the seed of the serpent, begets Cain, the son of Samael.
Here we have a combination of the serpent seed of Satan theory with Jewish folklore and a little Greek mythology.
According to late dated Jewish folklore Adam’s first wife was Lilith who refused to submit to Adam, became a style demoness, etc. For details, see Bohemian Grove owl: who or what is it? On Moloch and Lilith.
The reason for stating that “As the serpent in the garden, Samael seduces Eve” is due to an Aramaic paraphrase of the Old Testament which dates to over half a century after the time of Jesus (circa the 600s AD) and which is peppered with Rabbinic folklore. The text is titled the Palestinian Targum aka the Targum of Jonathan ben Uzziel and more accurately aka the Targum Pseudo-Jonathan. This is a favorite of serpent seedline of Satan theorist Zen Garcia who continuously asserts, without evidence or scholarly backing, that this Targum (one of many Targumim) is the original text of Genesis.
Consider, for example, how differently Pseudo-Jonathan reads from the earlier Targum Onkelos (circa 200 AD) and the Jewish Publication Society’s translation which is based on the Masoretic text (circa 800-1,000 AD). Let us consider Genesis 4:1,
JPS: And the man knew Eve his wife; and she conceived and bore Cain, and said: ‘I have gotten a man with the help of the LORD.’ Onkelos: And Adam knew Hava his wife, and she conceived, and gave birth to Kain; and she said, I have acquired the man from before the Lord.
Pseudo-Jonathan: And Adam knew Hava his wife, who had desired the Angel; and she conceived, and bare Kain; and she said, I have acquired a man, the Angel of the Lord.
Clearly, Pseudo-Jonathan is just making it up as it goes along and not making sense: Cain is the Angel of the Lord—what?!
The reference to Eve desiring the Angel brings us back to Genesis 3:6,
JPS: And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat; and she gave also unto her husband with her, and he did eat. Onkelos: And the woman saw that the tree was good to eat, and that it was salutary to the eyes, and a tree desirable to contemplate; and she took of its fruitage (aiba) and ate; and she gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
Pseudo-Jonathan: And the woman beheld Sammael, the angel of death, and was afraid; yet she knew that the tree was good to eat, and that it was medicine for the enlightenment of the eyes, and a desirable tree by means of which to understand. And she took of its fruit, and did eat; and she gave to her husband with her, and he did eat.
This is why the article and Jewish folklore reference Samael.
Greek mythology comes into play as the article had noted that the much later Greek myth regarding Prometheus correlates to the occult retelling of the garden of Eden story in that, as noted, Samael or Satan or Prometheus literally enlightens humanity via wisdom / gnosis. Of course, God in no way forbade wisdom but the fruit of the tree not of genetic knowledge but of the knowledge of good and evil.
You can learn more about Prometheus by reading Prometheus unhinged – on the varied mythology.
And so as per a menagerie of un-, non- and anti-biblical sources, Eve had sex with Satan, Cain is Satan’s literal son and Cain’s lineage / bloodline / seedline carry within them Satanic genetics: this makes for some great fiction but you would figure that by now we could simply test DNA and detect the Satanic strain.
