This book reviews some objections to the claim that Jesus is the Messiah and responds to them by appealing to Judaism’s very own literature—from ancient to modern. The main categories considered within this text are that of identity (such as the question of who is a Jew? and anti-Semitism), theology (such as Jewish Messianic concepts, will the Messiah be “The LORD”?, etc.) and disputations regarding the Bible’s contents, concepts and contexts (such as Psalm 22, Isaiah 9 and Isaiah 53).

Chapter headings include:

Basic Background of Rabbinic Judaism
Who is a Jew?
“The Jews” in the New Testament
The Truth is Veiled – For a Time
Do All Roads Lead to God?
Jewish View of Jesus
Jewish Messianic Concepts
Will the Messiah Be “The LORD”?
Will the Messiah Institute New Commandments?
A Jewish Book Called “The New Testament”
List of Old Testament Texts Applied to the Messiah in Rabbinic Writings
The Isaiah 9 Controversy
The Psalm 22 Controversy
The Suffering Servant According to Isaiah

From reviews posted on Amazon:

…very informative and well researched. Love the constant citations and arguments put forth in elucidating the matter and solving the issue.
I would totally recommend this book to Christians, and also for the Jew who wants to know if Yeshua is the Messiah promised by the prophet, this read will help him reconsider and realize that Yeshua is the Mashiach promised by the prophets, by God and even elucidated by the Rabbis of old.
But if they want to know how so, they need to read it and see for themselves the evidence.

The best way to reach out to my Jewish fsmily and friends is not through the New Testament but through the writings of the Jewish sages. Any resource Gentile and Christian is always suspect. Ken has built an afirmative argument for Yeshua as Messiah based primarily on trusted Jewish sourses. It is also one of the best collections of the sayings of the sages on the Messiah I have seen to date which makes it invaluable for study. It belongs in every library of those serious about “to the Jew first”.
