Listen to C S Lewis (literally)

This is actual audio of C S Lewis elucidating what would later become part of his book Mere Christianity.

One interesting point is how time sensitive many atheist arguments are. I mean that an argument may have been powerful at a very specific time in history but as we learn more about the nature of creation and as we advance technologically arguments such as that which follows fall away as being oh so quaint.

C S Lewis mentions a popular objection in his day which was to ask how God could possible hear so many prayers at the same time. He certainly gives an intriguing answer. I like to think of what we learn from something as simple as an internet search. For “C S Lewis” Google returned “About 8,800,000 results” and did so in “0.28 seconds.” For “Jesus” it returned “About 199,000,000 results” in “0.29 seconds.”
Also note that the human brain can compute 20 million billion calculations per second. In the face of such knowledge it seems all but a joke, a bad one, to take the old time objection seriously anymore.
