In keeping with the ever increasing observation that there are occult rituals occurring all around us which are not recognized as such, we now consider some thoughts on hip hop as religion and rappers as preachers.

Forget the Mayas and 2012 AD but get ready for KRS-One and the Hip Hop-ness of 2109 AD.
All Hip Hop reported (Dawn Danz and Phalary Long, “KRS Plans New Hip-Hop Religion With ‘Gospel of Hip Hop’,” August 20, 2009 AD):
Rap pioneer KRS-One has bigger plans for Hip-Hop as he’s announced that he will soon release The Gospel of Hip Hop: The First Instrument, a…book that examines the spirituality of the culture…his new spiritual book will help form a new Hip-Hop religion on earth.
“It explores the spirituality of Hip-Hop, the divinity of Hip-Hop. I’m suggesting that in 100 years, this book will be a new religion on the earth”…
Who would’a thunk it, but Lawrence Krishna Parker aka KRS-One aka The Teacha, looks forward to establishing a new one world order which will include a one world religion:
Now you talk about controversy, there’s some Christian ministries if you go online, look up some ministers, they dissing right now. ‘Who the hell does he think he is?’ Well, I think I have the authority to approach God directly, I don’t have to go through any religion [or] train of thought. I can approach God directly myself and so I wrote a book called The Gospel of Hip Hop to free from all this nonsense garbage right now. [I] respect the Christianity, the Islam, the Judaism but their time is up.
In Exodus, YHVH told Moses that His “name” will be known as I AM (or, “I Am that I Am,” etc. referring to self existence and non reliance upon anything external to His own nature and essence). Not to be outdone by the one true God Himself, The Teacha’s imprint for his book is called, “I AM HIP HOP” and the book “is set in the format of the Christian Bible and offers readers a ‘life-guide manual for members of Hip Hop Kulture’” (spelling of “Kulture” in original). He has also sought to establish the “Temple of Hip Hop.”
The book combines philosophy with faith, practical knowledge and various spiritual teachings. KRS offers his take on the origins of Hip-Hop and draws from instances in history to teach readers about health, love, awareness and wealth.
He is quite right that he can approach God directly and not go through any religion. He can approach God at any ol’ time as an unrepentant sinner who specifically rejects the revelation of the Messiah Jesus.
The Teacha has declared that Christianity, Islam and Judaism are done, finished, null and void—what about the other world religions?
His new world order one world religion will be “bound by a common belief system” in order to “create a whole new civilization.”
The book description on Amazon.com notes that it, “combines classic philosophy with faith and practical knowledge for a fascinating, in-depth exploration of Hip Hop as a life path.” This includes KRS-One’s “philosophy of self-creation” and an elucidation of the “spirit and ideas that are at the core of Hip Hop’s current manifestation.” This will work towards demonstrating how, “‘Hiphoppas’ can change their current circumstances to create a future that incorporates Health, Love, Awareness, and Wealth (H-LAW)”:
In this beautifully written, inspiring book, KRS ONE shines the light of truth…
Well, KRS-One better get his act in gear because Hip Hop has long, and rightly, been viewed as one of the most deleterious, corrupt, dangerous, immoral and emotionally, spiritually and physically damaging movements in any culture which it touches.
Now, there is no question that there have been some positive forces within hip hop in the form of raising awareness of social injustices such as racism, police brutality, etc.
However, in general hip hop culture in saturated with its own injustices such as misogyny, broken families, drug and alcohol abuse, gang violence, etc.
You may have thought that KRS-One was just another Hiphoppa whose raps meant nothing, whose shows were just entertainment, who had nothing of substance to say, etc. But, just as more and more people are waking up to realize, entertainment simply for entertainment may not even exist anymore—if it ever existed (and if they really had nothing to say, they are likely a nihilist and are thus expressing their worldview all the same).
Rather, people are pushing their worldviews via various forms of entertainment so that they can preach their pseudo-gospels whilst hiding behind the label of entertainment.
Riddle yourself this: if you had an open forum to speak to hundreds of thousands of people, would you really have nothing to say? Nothing of substance to say?
If you really, really did not that would be terribly sad. That is actually what is hard to imagine, that someone who has an open forum to speak to hundreds of thousands of people and has utterly nothing to say.
Lastly, this stuff about musicians and other celebrities thinking of themselves as prophets of new faith’s—which are actually the oldest faith preached by the serpent in the Garden of Eden, “You shall be like God”—is nothing new:
