James Jay Lee – the Discovery Channel and environmentalist misanthropy

In his article Discovery Channel Gunman James Jay Lee Was No Terrorist, psychiatrist Dr. Keith Ablow states of James Jay Lee—the man who took hostages and was untimately gunned down at the Discovery Channel building—“My guess is that James Lee had become hostage to a psychiatric disorder long before he took hostages.”

Indeed, that seems like the case:

Indeed, that seems like the case:

Last year, he was arrested outside the Discovery Channel after throwing thousands of dollars up in the air to protest corporate greed. He objected to shows like “Dirty Jobs” and said at trial that he was inspired to save the planet not only by Al Gore, but by the novel “Ishmael,” about a talking gorilla.

Incidentally, “Dirty Jobs” is a show that has the host taking on just that; dirty jobs, such as cleaning sewers, cleaning up at a farm, treating deer skins, processing coal, etc., etc., etc.

Now, on the other hand, some of his other insane views are actually mainstream insane views:

Lee also wrote that he objected to all “immigration pollution and the anchor baby filth that follows that.”

Other reports note that he referenced “disgusting human babies” and “parasitic infants.”

So, when will the media state that this guy was an environmental extremist? What about an environmental terrorist? Dan Barker asked why the media did not refer to Timothy McVeigh as a “Christian Terrorists” (find the answer here) so, what about it?

Granted, correlating “Dirty Jobs” with saving the planet is far out there.

However, in referencing immigrants should be prevented from having babies is essentially the founding motto of Planned Parenthood. Also, in referring to “disgusting human babies” and “parasitic infants” he is speaking much like some pro-abortion activists such as those who say that they do not want their daughters “punished with a baby.”
