Is a New World Order coming? – on the goals of the Bahá'í Faith (and Walter Cronkite)

While I will not delve into the bottomless pit of conspiracy theories regarding the attempts to establish a New World Order (although I have written on the Illuminati and the Alluminati—see here) I did want to simply offer two things in this post:

1) Some very, very chilling and telling statements made by Walter Cronkite.

2) An ubiquitously overlooked fact about a religion that is purposefully and specifically attempting to establish a New World Order—via a one world religion (theirs), one world government, etc.
Simply stated the Baha’i Faith believes that it was established by the Second Coming of Christ (that Christ returned in the late 1800s AD—see Introduction to the Baha’i Faith – The Key Players).

As for Walter Cronkite, the following video clip speaks for itself as he speaks for himself:

As you read that which follows, keep in mind that: all of this, of course, as planned, executed and maintained by Bahá’ísm. They refer to this concept as a New World Order:

The best way for a Bahá’í to serve his country and the world is to work for the establishment of Bahá’u’lláh’s World Order, which will gradually unite all men and do away with divisive political systems and religious creeds.[1]

Bahá’u’lláh declared, plainly and repeatedly, that He was…the channel of a wondrous Grace that would transcend all previous outpourings, in which all previous forms of religion would become merged.[2]

a world commonwealth in which all nations, races, creeds and classes are closely and permanently united…a world legislature whose members will…ultimately control the entire resources of all the component nations…A world executive, backed by an international Force…A world tribunal…A mechanism of world inter-communication…A world metropolis will act as the nerve center of a world civilization….A world language will either be invented or chosen from among the existing languages…A world script, a world literature…currency…weights and measures…A world federal system, ruling the whole earth and exercising unchallengeable authority over its unimaginably vast resources.[3]

the Most Great Peace—the spiritual as well as social and political unity of mankind, when the Bahá’í World Commonwealth, operating in strict accordance with the laws and ordinances of the Most Holy Book of the Bahá’í Revelation, will have been established through the efforts of the Bahá’ís.[4]

`Abdu’l-Bahá likewise has written, ‘…will become a single nation. Religious and sectarian antagonism, the hostility of races and peoples, and differences among nations, will be eliminated. All men will adhere to one religion, will have one common faith, will be blended into one race, and become a single people. All will dwell in one common fatherland, which is the planet itself.[5]

Shoghi Effendi describes this process of world unification as the ‘Major Plan’ of God…It must lead in time, as Shoghi Effendi has made clear, to the spiritualization of human consciousness and the emergence of the global civilization that will embody the Will of God.[6]

One of the fundamental objectives of the Bahá’í Faith is the establishment of world peace within the framework of a unified, spiritually enlightened new world order.[7]

I hope through the divine grace that the brilliancy of the love of God will pervade all regions, and that he will remove warfare and strife from the world of existence. Then the human world will become expressive of the unity of the merciful world, the inferior world will become a clear and purified mirror reflecting the Supreme Concourse, the East and West will embrace each other like unto two longing ones and the North and South will shake hands and clasp each other in the arms like unto two beloved ones. This is the station of `Abdu’l-Bahá.[8]

The Bahá’í Administrative Order, as it expands and consolidates itself, will come to be regarded not only as the nucleus but as the very pattern of the New World Order, destined to embrace, in the fullness of time, the whole of mankind.[9]

the fusion of all its [the world’s] races, creeds, classes, and nations.[10]

TEN-PART PROCESS A ten-part process of divine revelation described by Shoghi Effendi. It began with Adam and is to end with the erection of the entire machinery of Bahá’u’lláh’s Administrative Order…over the entire planet…in the course of numerous crusades…into all the remaining territories of the globe…in all territories, both East and West, the stage at which the light of God’s triumphant Faith shining in all its power and glory will have suffused and enveloped the entire planet.[11]

A letter dated 29 November 1937 written on behalf of Shoghi Effendi to an individual believer identifies the fulfillment of Christ’s prophecy of His return—of the coming of the Kingdom of the Father—with the worldwide realization of the sovereignty of Bahá’u’lláh.[12]

the stated purpose of the Revelation of Bahá’u’lláh: to bring about a Divine Civilization.[13]

The broad outlines of the world-encircling plan were divinely revealed.[14]

In a meeting with members of the Bahá’í Faith,[15] I carefully, with gentleness and respect, asked what they thought about the fact the goals of Bahá’ísm are the same as the goals of the antichrist.
The answer was all too simple, unsatisfactory and alarming in its ignorance (ignorance is not stupidity but mere lack of knowledge, being uninformed). The answer was that they, of course, did not equate themselves with the Book of Revelation’s predictions about the antichrist because their goal was not one of secularism.
I pointed out that that was not at all the case, the antichrist is not interested in a secular government but will have the false prophet along side of him. The antichrist will unite the world religions and will eventually declare himself to be God.

Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone
(Revelation 19:20 also see Revelation 16:13, 20:10).

the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God
(2nd Thessalonians 2:3-4).

While it may not be necessary to equate Bahá’ísm with the antichrist of the eschaton (end days, end times) the sad fact is that it is people such as these who will instantly and joyfully follow the antichrist when they see that he is fulfilling all the goals of Bahá’ísm. Individual members of the Bahá’i are not the enemy but are victims of the enemy.

The Bible, being the word of God, is much too realistic to claim that all of humanity will unite in godliness. Let us not misunderstand, it is a very admirable and ecumenical idea but the fact of the free will that God has afforded us means that all of humanity will not come together in godliness.

The Bible tells us that the beast,

was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast…another beast…made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. And he performed great and miraculous signs….Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army
(Revelation 13:7-8, 11-13 & 19:19).

Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth
(Revelation 20:7-8).

I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb”
(Revelation 7:9-10).

In the Bible the issue of the whole world coming together has been dealt with, not only in regards to prophecy which still points to future events, but in the ancient past.

Now the whole earth had one language and one speech…And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”

But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.”
So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth
(Genesis 11:1-9).

It goes without saying that the Bahá’í would state that these texts are outdated. They would probably think that at the time in which that particular revelation was given it was true that the whole Earth should not have come together but we are in Bahá’u’lláh’s era and he has called for a New World Order.
Yet, they must face the facts of the Book of Revelation’s vision of a future one world religion: Bahá’ísm’s ultimate goal.
