Based on certain readings, interpretations, of the ancient Mayan calendar many people are expecting something to occur globally, if not universally, on December 21, 2012 AD—12.21.12
Granting that the reading is accurate will something happen? Most certainly!
Some claim that the reading of the Mayan calendar in relation to 2012 AD is simply erroneous. Others state that the date merely indicates when the calendar cycles, in counter distinction to the 2012 AD reading which claims that the calendar ends then and that this signifies the world’s end.
