Bill Nye slams anti-abortion activists

Bill Nye is not a scientist, but he played one on a children’s TV show. Today, he is one of the few, the proud, the foisted upon us as an intellectual who is qualified to address the nation from atop his imitation ivory tower.
You will find the video version of this article at the end of it.

CNN posted a video titled, “Bill Nye slams anti-abortion activists” and it is truly amazing what he has to say within a mere minute and nineteen seconds. That is to say, how he managed to pack so much moving the goalpost misdirection, logical fallacies and contradictions within such a tiny amount of time is truly astonishing. Of course, CNN edited the video and, or so one would assume, resented us with the very best of Nye on this topic.

Firstly, notice the misleading moving the goalpost misdirection terminology as Bill Nye slams anti-abortion activists and not pro-life activists. Well, perhaps this is fair enough as pro-lifers are anti-abortion. In that case, let us refer to pro-choice as pro-abortion.
Bill Nye also refers to the issue as being about “women’s rights” with no apparent regards for baby’s rights.

Also, CNN’s annotation on the video refers to “Reproductive Health” and not baby’s health and do not mention that abortion is extremely to damaging to women’s psychological health, spiritual health and physical health.

Bill Nye seems to be aware of some great research study which concluded in his assertion that “Nobody likes abortion.” But how does he know? Millions upon millions of people, such as he, support and have abortions so someone much “like” it. Also, Planned Parenthood is a monster of a money machine and so they surely “like” it. But then again, if this is about “women’s rights” and “Reproductive Health” then why not like it? Just what is not to like? He never gets around to discussing it.
In fact, as is common practice, supporters of abortion do not ever seem to get around to providing vivid details of that which they actually support and should be always and constantly asked to define and describe that actual abortions which they support: the actual procedure and not trail off into referencing “women’s rights” and “Reproductive Health.”

Bill Nye states, “you can’t tell somebody what to do” except, apparently, he can tell us that “you can’t tell somebody what to do” as he is telling us that which we can and cannot do—Nye privilege.

He states “She has rights over this” with “this” being a reference to baby murder: come on Nye, be a manly man and do not simply bypass inconvenient truth by generically referring to “this.” Also, “She has rights over this” but the baby appears to have no right to life.

He continued the excuse for a thought that “She has rights over this” by stating “Especially if she doesn’t like the guy that got her pregnant.” Note the equation: woman does not “like” the guy that got her pregnant and so that is justification enough to take the life of an innocent baby. Of course, in our day and age he cannot even refer to her husband but it is some random “guy”: the currently temporary noncommittal unmarried sex partner de jour. My dear Mr. Nye, why not tell women that, well I don’t know, perhaps they should not allow a guy to get her pregnant if she does not like him—just for starters. Well, because this is also something with which the likes of Bill Nye never deal.
You see, to them the issue of abortion begins when the woman somehow finds herself pregnant without wanting to be—apparently, knowing nothing about the birds and the bees—but they do not discuss how she ever got that be in that situation in the first place. Ever hear of cause and effect Bill Nye the (pseudo) Science Guy?

Actually, it is not quite accurate that they do not discuss how she ever got that be in that situation in the first place as there is one, and only one, exception to this which is conveniently mentioned by Nye, “Especially if she was raped.” You see, when someone gets uncomfortably close to having a moment of clarity whereby they actually have to face the fact that they are in favor, in thought deed and word, the inhuman, inhumane and subhuman brutal and painful dismembering murder of beautiful, healthy, innocent and defenseless human babies in a manner that will preserve their mutilated corpses for sale they attempt to turn the tables and make an utterly emotive statement which is meant to make you believe there is something wrong with you if you do not support inhuman, inhumane and subhuman brutal and painful dismembering murder of beautiful, healthy, innocent and defenseless human babies in a manner that will preserve their mutilated corpses for sale.
What they are doing is taking the very disturbing and complex issue of pregnancy and abortion within the context of abortion but are in reality employing it as a psycho-spiritual band aid as they are justifying %99.999999999999 of abortions by appealing to a tiny minority. Now, when you find yourself thinking how cold and heartless it is to shrug off pregnancy and the right to an abortion on the basis of rape, you see that they have sway over you. I made no statement (at least not here) about the issue of pregnancy and the right to an abortion on the basis of rape. I am merely pointing out that when it is brought up as a bully tactic then it is just that.

A CNN caption states that Bill Nye “is urging Conservative politicians who want to defund Planned Parenthood to back down.” Now we have moved beyond abortion in general and even abortion due to rape and are focused on a specific organization. Even the term Planned Parenthood is misleading moving the goalpost misdirection terminology.
For example, I am 100% pro-choice in that I believe that every woman has the right to choose whether or not to get pregnant. However, once she finds herself pregnant, it is an altogether different matter. Likewise, I am 100% in support of planned parenthood (lower case) in that, of course, everyone should plan whether or not they want to become parents before they find themselves to be parents. Yet, Planned Parenthood, the big money machine, is about already being the parent of an as of yet unborn human baby and only then deciding whether one wants to carry to their parenthood to a few inches in the direction outside of the womb. The current issues are: 1) the non-abortion related women’s health services that Planned Parenthood offers are also available in dozens of other nearby locations from organizations that do not perform abortions, 2) the make money from abortions, 3) they make even more money by having the government forcing every single citizen (pro-life, anti-abortion or neutral) to fund their abortion services, 4) and they make even more money from selling dismembered human baby corpses.

Oh, but, personages such as Bill Nye will excuse all of it by appealing to “women’s rights,” “Reproductive Health” and, as per number 4 above: SCIENCE!!! What’s that Joseph Goebbels ghost, you want to kiss Bill Nye on the mouth?!?!?!

Nye seeks to simply shrug off the issue by stating, “We have so many more important things to be dealing with. We have so many more problems.” We do, indeed, have many more problems and yet, one wonders what standard Nye is employing to come to the determination of which are more important. In any case, some people are of the opinion, sorry to disturb you Mr. Nye, that it is a pretty important problem when large portions of the world’s population support the inhuman, inhumane and subhuman brutal and painful dismembering murder of beautiful, healthy, innocent and defenseless human babies in a manner that will preserve their mutilated corpses for sale and also the view that one is something ranging from wrong to unethical if they disagree with the inhuman, inhumane and subhuman brutal and painful dismembering murder of beautiful, healthy, innocent and defenseless human babies in a manner that will preserve their mutilated corpses for sale.

Bill Nye claims that those seeking to defund Planned Murderhood come to conclusions such as seeking to defund them “Based on bad science, on lack of understanding.” Well, that is, of course, generic enough to be meaningless and he is, yet again, appealing to some great unknown research study which showed that those seeking to defund Planned Parenthood do so based on bad science, on lack of understanding. Well, I did not pretend to be a scientist on a children’s TV show so I cannot even imagine attempting taking on Nye on this issue but the facts are in: 1) the non-abortion related women’s health services that Planned Parenthood offers are also available in dozens of other nearby locations from organizations that do not perform abortions, 2) the make money from abortions, 3) they make even more money by having the government forcing every single citizen (pro-life, anti-abortion or neutral) to fund their abortion services, 4) and they make even more money from selling dismembered human baby corpses.
I thought we went over this already.

Lastly, Bill Ney keeps on telling us what to do in stating that he is urging people “not to pursue these laws that really are in nobody’s best interests.” Hey Ney, millions upon millions and millions of human babies called and these laws are in their best interest.

Overall, the very best thing one can do with an activist Atheist such as Bill Nye is to do that which CNN: give them a platform to have their say and watch them discredit themselves on various levels.
