In a good cop, bad cop article Peter Enns plays the inflammatory bad cop and Timothy Michael Law plays the, well, erudite elucidator cop or, at least, attempts to do so.
The article is really just a PR piece of Law’s new book which I have not read. Surely, he and his adherents will demand that he be heard in full via his book. Fair enough, however, he is asked, “What are some theological implications of all this for Christian readers of the Bible?” and replies that “I end the book asking this very question” which, in essence, he answers by stating, “we have to wait and see.”
