The College Fix’s staff reported “Atheist activist professor tells conservative student paper to ‘f*ck off and die’,” The College Fix, November 23, 2016 AD.
This pertains to the University of Minnesota-Morris Biology Prof. PZ Myers who is really a self-style professor of Atheism since when he was asked “What’s most important to you: advancing atheism or advancing the public understanding of science – or are they kind of one in the same for you?” he replied, “They are inseparable” (see here).
Myers is an adherent of the positive affirmation of God’s non-existence (without evidence) denomination of Atheism. He makes promulgating emotive anti-Christian sentiments (see my section on Myers).
As with very many Atheists PZ Myers seems to exhibit tourette and/or asperger syndromes—specifically, see Atheist PZ Myers’ blog audience and their reported Asperger’s quotient test results and PZ Myers’ antitheist blog audience and the issue of narcissism vs. Asperger’s Syndrome.
He is a knee jerk reactionarian and cannot take that which he dishes out. In this case, he has been complaining for years about “getting harassed – by a conservative student newspaper” which he describes as “wretched, badly-written, psychopathically ‘conservative’ alternative campus newspaper for racist homophobes, the Morris NorthStar…contemptible rag” which he compares to a Ku Klux Klan flyer.
PZ Myers has such influence over his cult of personality hero worshipping audience that they have come to be known as his “screechy monkeys” (see PZ Myers and Pavlov’s Monkeys). Well, Myers told his do what Myers wills monkeys, “Treat their scattered papers as hate-filled trash and dispose of it appropriately.” Well, someone took him up on his call for Atheist approved censorship and trashed an entire print run and defaced a subsequent edition.
Well, the paper was in the habit of sliding a copy under his office door or giving it to him at his desk. He eventually posted a note on his door “threatening to report the paper’s staffers for harassment if they continued” and has moved on to consider “filing a stalking report.”
Here is the notice Myers put up at his office:
It reads:
“To the shameful racists and neo-Nazis who publish and distribute the Morris NorthStar: Your contemptible rag is not appreciated here, and will never be welome. Continuing to push copies of it on me will be considered harassment, and futher, I will be charging you $5 for each copy you pile up under, near, or somewhere in the vicinity of my office door.
[Profane remark omitted out of respect for public propriety]”
He also wrote a blog article titled “The Morris NorthStar can f*ck off and die” on November 22, 2016 AD because, apparently, that is the stuff of which higher learning is made.
Now, PZ Myers is not, I repeat emphatically NOT, know for his science, biology, professorialness, etc. but is only known beyond the University of Minnesota-Morris due to being an emotive and bombastic militant Atheist. This makes it all the more ironic that he screeches at the slightest discomfort, “Oh my why, I’ve never: I have to move a paper two feet to a garbage can—how could they!?!?!??!”
