Another nail in Zen Garcia’s serpent seed of Satan theory’s coffin

As this is an update I will make it succinct. Zen Garcia is a pop-researchers and well-known for promulgating the serpent seed of Satan theory which claims that Eve had sex with Satan and that thus, Cain is Satan’s son and so Cain’s descendants carry within them satanic genetics.

He promulgates this view even though it has been discredited for as long as it has been proposed and despite the fact that Garcia’s very many fallacies has been pointed out to him personally: see my section detailing this fact.

One of his claims is that his theory explains why Cain is absent from Adam’s genealogy as outlined in Genesis 5. My reply has been that Cain is missing simply because he is missing—as are all of Adam and Eve’s many sons and daughters with the single exception of Seth. Also, after murdering Abel, Cain absconded from Adam and Eve and thus, started his own and separate lineage.

This is simply a non-issue and yet it is the serpent seed of Satan theorists’ modus operandi to make much ado about nothing, then claim that traditional theology cannot resolve their invented problem and finally that only their theory can answer it. This is a form of the Hegelian dialectic: thesis, antithesis, synthesis or as it has been popularly stated: problem, reaction, solution.

Well, during today’s daily Bible reading I ran across yet another manner whereby to solve the non-issue within 1 Chronicles 5:1 which states, “Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was the firstborn; but forasmuch as he defiled his father’s bed, his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright.”

Now, when it comes to Reuben, he was “the firstborn of Israel” yet, he is not reckoned as such when it comes to the official genealogy he “is not to be reckoned after the birthright” because of sin “he defiled his father’s bed” so that “his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph.”

This greater context can be applied to Adam, Eve, Cain and Seth since we may paraphrase this text thusly so as to apply it to Cain’s situation: Cain was the firstborn of (both) Adam and Eve, for he was the firstborn; but forasmuch as he defiled his family by murdering his (blood) brother Abel, his birthright was given unto the sons of Seth the son of Adam and Eve: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright but as a separate lineage.
