Many of our stories, such as in this case in the form of movies, are getting darker and darker: Batman: Dark Knight Rises, Star Trek: Into Darkness and now Superman: Man of Steel.
There is very much to say about the Superman story, too much in fact. That is because the story has been ongoing for decades in the form of comics, cartoons, movies, etc. and thus, there have been many, many storylines have been ongoing.
Originally, the Man of Steel was just an Earthling who traveled in a spaceship to other planets. Then, his superpowers were said to be a natural part of the Kryptonian aging process. Later still, it was the Earth’s yellow Sun which gave him his superpower. In short; the story of Superman (as we know it today) is that of an extra-terrestrial alien who is sent to Earth.
Note that his home planet is Krypton a term that clearly was concocted from crypt, cryptic, crypto, etc. which means hidden, secret, etc. Thus, an extraterrestrial alien—which in real life are really demons in disguise—is empowered by the Sun with occult force.
In fact, in the new movie Superman: Man of Steel it is noted that “His power comes from the Sun” and Superman is told by his father that humans will “Join you in the Sun.” This is clearly, Sun (aka satan) worship.
Having been illuminated by the Sun, Superman (the ubermensch) has a distinct advantage over humans.
Superman’s human name is Clark Kent. Clark entomologically derives from the Latin clericus as in cleric, scribe, etc. as in a religious order. Ken may refer to the Kenites who were a Canaanitish people (Genesis 15:19); kenite means smith as in metal worker but beyond this also, “knowledge, understanding, or cognizance; mental perception” (Dictionary.com). Although, Clark Kent was, reportedly, concocted from Clark Gable and Kent Taylor.
His Krypton name is Kal-El which could mean, drawing form the obvious Hebrew influenced “el” (as in el, eloah, elohim, eluheynu, etc.), “voice of god” or “voice of the mighty.” His arch nemesis is Lex Luthor (another one is Bizarro who is basically Superman’s anti-Christ). Since Lex means law we have the alien super powered voice of a mighty god who is the scribe of (secret?) knowledge fighting against the law (God’s law?).
Superman’s father continues to communicate with him as a disembodied voice via the trans-human (or, trans-kryptonian) method of downloading one’s consciousness as digitized info. The father sent his son to Earth on a salvific mission.
Upon Superman’s chest is a sigil in the form of a stylized pentagon which if you connect the point on its inside, form an upside down pentagram. In this new movie it is revealed that the apparent “S” on his chest, in his sigil, is not an “S” but is Kryptonian stands for “Hope” (hope and change?). Thus, apparently, our hope is in satanic initiation as he, the antichrist, has brought.
Of course, Jesus was raised by Joseph and Mary and Kal El by Jonathan and Martha. Jesus’ Hebrew/Jewish background had YHVH referred to as “El” and his father’s name is Jor El (meaning God or the mighty will uplift). Both Jesus and Superman were sent to save humanity. They both have an anti figure. They both died and were resurrected, etc.
In this new movie Superman, just like Jesus, is arrested. There is also a baptism-like scene when Clark saves Lex from drowning in water as Lex is shown floating in a crucifixion-like pose.
This movie also includes another nemesis General Zod whose full name Dru-Zod breaks down to: Dru “man, warrior; wise; loved one” and may have been gotten from Druid (the Pagan religion) and Zod “any repellent thing or person” as in “Is this grody zod yours or mine?” also a “a studious person” as in “Quiet. You don’t want to disturb the zods, his courses.”
Zod tells Superman, “surrender or watch this world suffer the consequences.”
Thus, the picture is clear; we must turn to an upside-down pentagram wearing Sun empowered extraterrestrial alien/demon for salvation—or something.
In his book The Meaning of Masonry, W.L. Wilmshurst wrote the following in chapter I, “The Deeper Symbolism of Freemasonry”:
