The issue is the claims that sex between two consenting adults is a private act and therefore, no one should interfere. However, various sexually transmitted diseases have created a health crisis in the world. They STDs are typically contracted and passed along during the supposedly private act of sex between two consenting adults.
Abortion has taken the lives of millions upon millions of innocent human babies, often in the name of pure convenience and irresponsibility. Taxpayer’s money has gone to pay for abortion and AIDS research. These and other such examples prove that sex is not a private act between two consenting adults, as it relates to the family and the society.
Is it not interesting that, for example, apparently, we ought not be allowed to interfere and impose morality upon society, you have no right or business doing that. However, when people need welfare because they keep having children in spite of the fact that it is a broken family who is broke, when we need to do research and treatment of STDs, when the government has to pay for abortions, when all the negative consequences that come about due to an utter lack of morals occur then what?
Then these very same people come to you and demand that your hard earned money, by way of taxes, pays for all the problems that were caused because you could not impose morality upon them.
Why is it that you cannot impose upon them but they can impose upon you? This is not to encourage un-charitableness, these people need our help desperately, the point is simply logical. They want you out of their private personal business until they want you in their private personal business.
