The statement, “Keep your laws off of my body” is an issue that revolves around the legislating morality, and it is rather odd since, virtually, all laws are related to your body.
This argument attempts to make the issue of abortion specifically intrusive upon our privacy, while in reality, virtually, all laws have this same effect to some degree. Granted, mental activities such as motive come into play but it is generally in order to ascertain the degree to which you will be charged for a criminal act which you performed with what? With your body.
Besides, if you are the kind of person that would act so brutally towards a baby then our laws ought to be all over you. After all do we not put the bodies of murderers in prison?
