The movie Pacific Rim, directed by Guillermo del Toro and written by del Toro and Travis Beacham, is an interesting movie which melded various esoteric themes.
The premise is that aliens come to Earth not from the skies but from an inter-dimensional portal deep within an ocean trench; their sphere of existence is the Anteverse. Thus, the beast(s) come out of the sea; compare with “a beast coming out of the sea” (Revelation 13:1) and/or also, “” (). That aliens have been seen piloting UFOs in and out of the oceans has a long history as does the concept that they are not inter-planetary but inter-dimensional.
The manner whereby the aliens are able to traverse the dimensions is via a portal which scans their DNA and opens accordingly—do not know if they cannot buy or sell without it; capiche?
Ante, as in Anteverse, means before / prior to (not to be confused with anti which means instead of / against). These aliens are said to have come to Earth previously as the dinosaurs but the climate was not to their liking. Thus, they are said to return now when the environment is nice and polluted, from our point of view, but just right for them. Thus, they are the ancient aliens and if sequels are made of Pacific Rim they will surely be said to have created the mammals which turned into humans—by design or accident.
The Kaiju are the monstrous beings which are sent through the portal to wreck human civilization. These are the genetically manipulated / clones created by the Precursors.
There is also a concept of a new world order brought about when humans put their differences aside in order to fight the aliens. This is precisely the scenario envisaged by Ronald Reagan as statedin 1987 AD (speech to the UN General Assembly, 42nd General Assembly):
“Perhaps we need some outside, universal threat to make us recognize this common bond. I occasionally think how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world. I occasionally think how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world. And yet, I ask is not an alien force already among us?”
This denotes ordo ab chao / order from chaos.
Humans build gigantic robots called Jaegers which are piloted by two people who must mind-meld via a process called Drift whereby their minds are connected to each other via technology. This melding of humans with robots and each other via technology makes for tranhumanism propaganda. Moreover, this tech allows for men and women to drift together which is a high tech version of the transhumanist-alchemist ultimate goal; trans-gender androgyny.
In one scene the sigil of the Shriners (a sect of Freemasonry) is shown hung on the wall amongst various photographs—it is a sword from which is handing a sphinx head which is on a crescent moon within which is a pentagram (the sword is not seen in the movie).
At one point a temple dedicated to the Kaiju and/or the Precursors is shown and it is noted that some superstitious people believe that the Precursors are gods who are displeased with humanity and thus, are venting their wrath vie the Kaiju.
There is a character named “Pentecost” who, by the way, seeks to stop the “apocalypse.” Whether it is relevant to the movie or not; it should be noted that many people seem to confuse the apocalypse with Armageddon. The former refers to revelation, which is why the Bible’s “Book of Revelation” is aka “The Apocalypse.” The latter is the final end times / last days / eschaton battle or, rather, a failed attempt to battle again Jesus.
There is another character named “Hercules” (Heracles in Greek) the son of Zeus and Alcmene.
Overall, there is much to consider and note about the story line and one will do well to always watch movies with their mind alert to what is really being said both upfront and between the lines.
