I posted a parsed essay responding to statements by Paul Davies, physicist, cosmologist and astrobiologist working at Arizona State University.
He made them whilst being interviewed by ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corp.) In Conversation with Paul Davies and Phillip Adams.
It is interesting that Paul Davies states that, “a literal interpretation” concludes a “shallow time scale” which “is absurdly short” and that this is “hopelessly incorrect.” This takes us into issues of catastrophism versus uniformaterianism, Stephen Hawking and Leonard Mlodinow make an appearance and much more, including Davies’ own very, very strange views that we humans created the universe.
