Illuminati elitism exposed in “Thrill Seekers” movie

The 1999 AD movie “Thrill Seekers,” originally titled “The Time Shifters,” was directed by Mario Philip Azzopardi and stars Julian Richings as Murry Trevor, Martin Sheen as Grifasi, Casper Van Dien as Tom Merrick, Catherine Bell as Elizabeth Wintern, Theresa Saldana as Cortez, et al.

On the surface, it is a sci fi movie which plays off of time travel and the paradoxes which come therewith: causing changes in timelines, alternate timelines, etc.

The subtext is that in the future some wealthy personages enjoy traveling back in time in order to witness mass disasters which led to mass casualties. These are the “Thrill Seekers” and that is the name of the company who puts on the time travel tours.

At one point one of the techs involved in the process feels guilty about the fact that due to well, a plot point in the movie, a disaster would not be taking place and so his cohort planted bombs so as to make it happen. The tech says, “They’re people” to which the cohort replies “They are dust!”

The surface level meaning is that since as per the thrill seeker’s perspective all of those in the past are dead and gone already anyhow, then what does it matter?
The subtext is that this is how wealthy elitists see even people who are alive today: the hoi polloi. In their view the common person is no different than bees or ants and exist only to serve the queen.
