As noted in our various previous articles on satanic crime (which you will find linked below) Africa is currently a hotbed of satanic crimes and rituals. In this case, events unfolded at Chegutu which is a town in Zimbabwe.
Of course, considering that, at least in the West, satanic crime is largely swept under the rug, it may be that such crimes are afoot worldwide but simply not reported as such. The greatest trick that whomever ever pulled was convincing the world satanic crime does not exist. After the 1980s, one simply replies to claims of satanic crimes by voicing the phrase, “satanic panic” and simply moves on to more pressing matters such as the latest about Lindsay Lohan’s belly button lint.
As reported in “Satanism Scare at Mupfure College,” ZimEye, November 15, 2013 AD:
“A Satanism scare has rocked Mupfure Self Help College after a student confessed to be involved in vile satanic acts in an incident that has left many students shell shocked at the institution.”
It all began simply enough with the allegation that Sharon Muzavazi stole clothing from Cassandra Jones. Chegutu police concluded that Muzavazi must pay Jones the equivalent of 120 Yankee dollar. She did not do so which “caused mayhem at the whole college”:
“Sharon is said to have shifted goal posts by responding using threats that she was satanic and had stolen the clothes to use them for spiritual satanic purposes. Allegations are that Sharon made strange buffer-met [likely a reference to Baphomet] signs…Sharon, the accused reportedly confessed that she joined satanism as a result of people mocking her because of her body structure and it is said that she at another time even confessed to killing two people in Chinhoyi some time last year.”
Indeed, both Atheists and satanists (and Atheists satanists or satanic Atheists) often seek to do away with YHVH, by denying His existence and/or worshipping His adversary as a means whereby to deal with perceived loss or lack of power.
The short report reads as if things were blown out of proportion as this was not a satanic crime but a satanic scare. However, considering the larger context of an utter outbreak of satanism in Africa, the reaction and vigilance is understandable.
