Messiah complex (like Jesus?) – Damien Echols WM3

In the article Book review: “ABOMINATION – Devil Worship and Deception in the West Memphis Three Murders” by William Ramsey we noted that the West Memphis Three (WM3) pertained to three brutally murdered eight year olds—Steve Branch, Christopher Byers and James Michael Moore—and three accused, incarcerated and subsequently released teenagers (released after circa two decades)—Damien Wayne Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley, Jr.
Previous segments include part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4 and part 5.

As aforementioned; while incarcerated after his 1993 arrest; Damien Echols wrote various letters meant to be saved and given to his baby boy when he grew up (a baby that Echols and then live-in-girlfriend Dominique “Domini” Teer once planned on sacrificing), so this is certainly a legacy in writing.

The following, if at all true and accurate, is a very, very sad commentary on those who call themselves Christian but are only wearing a false label. He then trails off into more expressions of his messiah complex:

I never could figure out how he [Echol’s biological father] could be a christian and still hate me. Now I have finnaly figured it out. Just now. I can finnally understand. It’s because of the same reason all Christians hate me, the reason they put me here. Because they hate me because God hates me. Because he knows I can beat him so he tries to kill me. Every chance he gets…God still tried everything he can to kill me but he can’t.

Death can’t stop me. I would be only the third person in history to raise from the dead. Lazarus, Jesus Christ, Damien. I will prove it very soon. Afterwards I will come to power and nothing will stop me…can end all of you anytime now… [sic.]

For the sake of accuracy; we have no idea how many people in history have risen from the dead. Even within the Bible there are more than three. Lazarus and Jesus Christ and also Elisha raised a dead boy in 2 Kings 4:32, Jesus raised Jairus’ daughter from the dead, see Mark 5:35-43 and Paul raised the young man Eutychus from the dead, see Galatians 20:7-12.

Here is another instance of a messiah complex and likeness to Jesus:

I see a perfect explosion, God’s amunition dump going up in the flames of righteousness, Satan storming heaven, his artillery captain a fiercely grinning fool with red flayed cheeks, Damien by name, never to be Michael Hutchison again. The end is here. Kiss your *** goodbye. People could see if they would open their eyes and see.
There are many similarities in the First and now the Second Coming. Jesus was imprisoned and executed for nothing. People even accused him of being Satanic. When he was praying for a man and the people said he cast out devils because he was the prince of devils. Look people, it’s time to pay up. Now is the Judgement. I am the Judge… [sic.]
