Did Jesus teach the serpent seed of Satan theory in John 8?

The serpent seed of Satan theory promulgates the concept that Satan engaged Eve in sexual relations with Eve and was thus Cain’s father; making Cain his literal son and meaning that Cain’s bloodline literally carry Satanic genetics. Generally, serpent seed of Satan theorists claim that the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was not a tree, the fruit of the tree was not fruit, etc. All of it, or so they claim, is symbolic of Satan’s body and sex.

Serpent seed of Satan theorists also tend to partially quote texts while offering citations that make it appear as if they are quoting texts in their entirety—they take texts out of context to make pretexts for prooftexts.

One example, is how Bethel-The House of God within their radio show titled “The Original Sin (The Serpent Seed)” stated, “Genesis 4:1 says, ‘Eve brought forth a child and his name was Cain” (see my article Bethel-The House of God on “The Original Sin (The Serpent Seed)”). Yet, that is not what 4:1 states rather, it states, “And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.” Of course, this is very inconvenient for serpent seed of Satan theorists as it is literally a one verse silver bullet refutation of their theory.
In fact, 4:2 continues the context, the thought, with “And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.” Thus, in exactly the very same way that Cain was conceive, Abel was conceived.

But if Jesus taught the serpent seed of Satan theory then it must be we who are mistaken and not He.

Under consideration is John chapter 8 which serpent seed of Satan theorists note has Jesus stating to “the Jews” that “Ye are of your father the devil.”
Starting at verse 30, we learn that “many believed on him” and continuing with:

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?

Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.

They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?
Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me. And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth. Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.

From here the discussion continues regarding whether Jesus is from God, has a devil, etc.
The point is to note that the issue is not genetics but actions. This explains how it could be that the Jews, of which Jesus was one, stated that they are “Abraham’s seed” and “Abraham is our father” why Jesus agreed “ye are Abraham’s seed” and/but also stated, “Ye are of your father the devil.”

This could be so because they are genetically from God, through Adam, via Abraham but their actions make them of the devil. This is why the action terms were emphasized above: “continue in my word,” “know the truth,” “committeth sin,” “abideth,” “the deeds,” “love,” “lusts…ye will do,” “murderer,” “liar,” “honour” and “dishonor.”

This is the pattern that you will find anywhere in the Bible from where serpent seed of Satan theorists attempt to insert bloodline / seedline distinctions that are meant to juxtapose Godly versus Satan; it is not about genetics but about actions, about sin, about rebellion.
