“Young Messiah” is the most recent of anti-Christian Hollywood programming.
Directed by Cyrus Nowrasteh and starring Adam Greaves-Neal as “Jesus,” Sara Lazzaro as Mary, Vincent Walsh as Joseph, Jonathan Bailey as Herod, Sean Bean as Severus and David Bradley as the old Rabbi.
How is a movie about Jesus anti-Christian?
Because it is not a movie about the real historical and Biblical Jesus.
It may be a movie about a fictional “Jesus” of Gnosticism such as from the Infancy (pseudo) gospel of Thomas.
You see, it is a movie that is not based on history or the Bible but based on a book by Interview With a Vampire author Anne Rice.
It has a seven yr old Jesus performing miracles.
Contrary to Rice, John 2 notes, “What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.” That was the first of His miracles and that was much later in His life.
As an FYI on Rice, here is an article I posted some years ago:

Young Messiah, old heresy.
