It is fascinating how in our poop-culture celebrities and politicians are viewed as demigods.
For example, consider all of the year in review style over the top reports about, oh my!, just how many celebrities died in 2016 AD—which made, or so we are told, it a bad year.
Well, celebrities are just human beings after all and certainly their deaths affect their families, friends and fans.
Yet, there is something missing from such reportage which is that, this just in, millions of people die every single year. There are circa 108 deaths per minute or 1.8 deaths per second worldwide.
